You've had an unfortunate accident at work.

Would you rather be left with one ear, but the rest of your face fully intact, or would you rather have both ears but lose an eye?

One ear without a doubt. There's so much that can be done these days with prosthetic ears, custom grown ears and things like cochlea implants for actually restoring hearing.

Not really that tough a call tbh

 

Are you talking about losing hearing in one ear, or just the physical ear itself? If the latter, it's a no brainer.

If the former, it's still a no brainer, of course...

 

Losing the ear itself - do you ever listen?

 

My mum used to ask me if I had cloth ears when I wasn't listening.
If I lost an ear I could get a cloth repacement and then say yes!

 

I quite often stand in the pub and reply to the offer of a drink with "No thanks, I've got one ear" so it would fit in nicely with that! If I stand in the pub talking about one eyes, people may start to worry about me. So, for me, it's the ear.

 

I worry about you saying no thanks to a beer :drinking:

 

One Ear. Losing an eye would seriously affect your perception of depth.
