Surely you can’t just brush off this egregious abuse of the system? I mean, I’m no fan of the current second chamber, but if we have to have this Harry Potter, LOTR, Hobbittown, Lords and Ladies, Barons and Baronesses bullshyte on behalf of the ruling class, let’s at least have some ******* rules to play by that we can all understand. What do you find so offensive about the appointment? Her age? The fact that she's a woman?
That’s a poor response. You know exactly what the problem is. Her appointment is utterly bizarre, with no rationale offered and an apparent attempt to prevent discussion of her. A disgraced former Prime Minister continues to use the public purse as his own and continues to hold the values of public life in contempt. All that ‘sovereignty’ and yet post-Brexit Britain cannot do anything about it, not even know the facts.
She was maternity cover for one of Johnson's aides. There is no truth in the allegations that she is Johnson's daughter and/or half-sister.
It's utterly disgusting how the likes of BJ have been allowed and enabled by their cronies and opponents to dismantle and mock the established traditions of democracy that we have built over centuries here. He should be in prison.
To all members who browse/post in this forum. Please can we stop calling out members who "like" a particular post. They are within their rights to like a post but not make a comment afer all. Not naming any names, but it's happened a few times and it is something I would like to see stopped.
