The club website states that West Ham tickets are £45 for anyone over 16 years old. They're not - when it comes to buying you're classed as an adult when you're 21, and charged 25 quid.

If I was to go I'd buy an under 21s ticket - no way I'm spending 45 quid.

Good spot, this has changed. Might be a good chance to see some players you dont normally get too.

West Ham can do one for £45. No way I'm paying that.

Players that aren't usually good enough to make the first team? Sounds great.

Had a half a day off and was looking forward to a few beers in London first. But as you say no way am I paying 45 quid.

Do large chunks of our fan base live in South Wales, the North East or some dreary 'Channel 4 Unemployment Blackspot Documentary' town in the Midlands?

Now, you don't really expect anyone to bite do you?

This is not going to be a classic. If West Ham win their FA Cup replay against Man Utd next week (which I expect them to), then it will be a Wednesday night fixture with both teams TANKING it due to the fact they'll both be involved in FA Cup semis 3 and 4 days later.

I'll be paying £45 for my ticket.... But I'm not happy about it.

    Extortionate!

And if West Ham lose the QF then you're probably paying £45 to watch our second 11 v their first 11. Can't see us getting much out of that.

Ha ha! It'll get a couple of nibbles, I'm sure.

If anything the opposite. The players we want to see play every week but we dont get too.

Last ever time at the famous ground, thats the only reason I am going there.

Same here. Happy memories going with my dad and uncles (all originated from Poplar, and at job interviews in the fifties used to say they were from Upton Park to avoid prejudices from recruiters) to West Ham in the 1970s. So for the last chance to go will pay up. But £45 is a bit steep.

A mate who is a season ticket holder at Arsenal paid £60 for this Saturday's game so £45 not so bad

1,250 sold to Cat A and B. Cat C on sale this afternoon.

Seriously debating whether to bother spending £45 on this one... Might wait and see if we show any signs of an upturn in form tomorrow. If it wasn't the last time we were going to play at Upton Park I doubt I'd even be considering going.

Interesting that these have sold slower than Brentford away last season.

Brentford was relatively easier to get to for most of us, it was a terrace and it was half the price of West Ham. Plus we playing decent football at the time.

Edit: we also didn't have a semi final to fork out for as well.

I'll hopefully get a ticket in the West Ham end from my mate Donut.

Well remembered, although I could imagine you having a huge WFC Forums network chart on your lounge wall.

These are about to go on general sale. What's happening? Don't we usually sell out for these matches?

  24. £45; b team; 4 days before £60/50 semi final.

I'm going mind; I like the Boleyn and it's 'last chance to see' to quote Douglas Adams.

Novelty for the season has worn off, nothing really left to play for, team playing poorly, not a new ground for most, extortionately expensive, sandwiched between two "away" games - one being £50 and at Wembley, it's midweek, the queues afterwards are a nightmare... Need I go on?

I'll probably still go though. Bugger all else to do on a Wednesday night.

Not paying £45 for this. Sure I'm not the only one thinking that.

    Three reasons I'm going
1 last chance to go to Upton Park
2 helps bump me up the pecking order for away tickets as I'm currently in "C"
3 get to see a WFC away game which is relatively easy to get to

Our alcohol policy: Due to safety concerns, alcohol will not be served after kick-off in the Away Supporters’ area if the ticket allocation exceeds 2,500.

Sorry what? No half time beer?

    How many have we sold?

  32. Otter

    Otter Gambling industry insider

    2499.

  33. Do you think they'll base it on allocation rather than take-up cos I can't see us taking 2,500?

1700 sold as of yesterday lunchtime.

With West Ham out of the cup this is now going to be a first team versus a reserve team fixture!
