What about BT Sport? Do they move games to weeknights?

They will surely televise us beat Sunderland on the last game, 3-0 up after 93 minutes with big Sam looking at relegation to the Championship only for Bournemouth to concede in the last minute of extra time and pip the Black Cats to the last relegation place.

All in all it's a great outcome. All KO dates/times pretty much settled from now til the end of the season and the club get paid for 10 games regardless of the fact they've only shown us 8 times.

Not surprising, our games are usually pretty dull for the neutral I imagine.

Yep. That 3-0 win against Liverpool on tv was pretty dull.

It would appear that we're at the bottom of the list, along with Burnley. At least it doesn't devalue the cost of the season ticket.

This is great news as I'm at a wedding on the 17th and the fact that I miss the first 2 home games as I'm on my holibobs I will take this as a crumb of comfort.

Be billed as Dyche v the Pozzos of course..

I'm glad City v Utd is still on 10th Sept as I'm getting married on the 11th. I thought Sky would move it to then, and as I have the usual number of Utd glory hunting friends it would have been a distraction I'm sure!

Done very well there with tv games considering the amount of big teams we're playing first up.

I'm not sure it will get billed as anything other than "some game on the tele"

After our seeing our initial fixtures, Sky will be thinking that they'll be looking at an early relegation battle.

Well maybe but they will put some sort of angle on how Dyche was sacked by the Pozzos - probably depends on how both teams are doing...

Given Sky have made a thing in their press release about featuring all 20 teams in the first tranche of games, and the fact us and Burnley appear once shoehorned in at the very end, tells you all you need to know about how attractive we are to them and their viewers.

Home game with United was always going to be on the Sunday as they have Europa League on Thursday night.

Tailor made set of "hard to play on Thursday/Sunday" excuses for Moronio if he doesn't get off to a flyer at Old Trafford.

Personally i am happy if we get all the basic TV money and most games on Saturday afternoons

Man Utd was always going to get moved because they start their Europa League campaign on the Thursday of that week so not a big surprise there. Burnley-Watford has all the makings of a PL classic though ;)

So basically we won't know a lot for a couple of weeks..

And a nice early start for anyone going to Boro..

So they've moved Burnley away to a Monday night, and now they are making Middlesbrough away an early kick off?

Good to see they care about the fans.

Bizarre (if not downright insulting) choices for me. And unless I'm missing something, why should whether or not Leicester are playing in the Champions League or Man City in the Europa League affect the scheduling of our games vs Middlesbrough and Stoke given neither we or our opponents play them the week afterwards/before?

  34. nascot

Hardly a shock though. They've not given a crap about fans for years now. It's only going to get worse as more games are shown on TV each season.

I booked my train to Boro a few weeks back. I arrive at 11,30 am so fingers crosed there.

Could someone please explain these bits to me? Stoke Boro and watford are not invovled with these clubs near the new tv dates, so why are these warnings added with a second date???

*Should Leicester City be scheduled to play in the Champions League the following Tuesday this match will move to Sunday October 16, 1.30pm, and remain live on Sky Sports.

*Should Manchester City be scheduled to play in the Europa League the preceding Thursday this match will move to Saturday November 26, 12.30pm, and remain live on Sky Sports.
