Perhaps he's just a camel with his hump, full of vital fat and fluids, round the front. All ready to go for an arduous trek through the season.
I honestly think Rose just looks a bit barrelly and has done for quite a few years. Whether that means fat or not I don't know.
Norwich, Brentford and Watford back to the champ. The gulf between Prem and Champ is massive. I would give Brentford a punchers chance on the basis they have the feel good factor of being in the Prem for the first time.
Unfortunately the coach is limited. So when we are up against equal or better players we really struggle. Too be honest we were not in the game from the off. They looked easily a two goal better than us side. Better finishing and it would have been embarrassing. Sisoko looking better each game and Kucha worse. Rose i thought played well, but the rest of the outfield players so so. However despite not doing a lot when King went off to be replaced by an ineffective Cucho (he was poor at spurs too when he came on), we saw their defence push even further up. Woeful to replace King with him. Sema foe Etebo even more bizarre. The old Gino little black book of available head coaches will start getting thumbed through this weekend. On the bright side Agent Quina helped worsen Fulham.
I really don't think Brentford will go down - it's still very early to make any predication after all, but they just seem to have something we lack at the moment. Cannot quite work out what that is...
Newcastle and Burnley will be down there with us, possibly still Southampton as well. It won't be as cut and dry as all three promoted teams finishing cut miles adrift in the bottom three. It's not over after four games, but it will be soon unless we get a proper manager in.
We will look good in championshit next season. 2nd half we were poor. Wolves goal was coming and they got that lucky break but it was when not if that goal was scored. For me Etebo was harshly booked again but then lucky not to see a 2nd yellow. A wolves player done exactly same foul and never received a booking and this effected Etebo and the way we played. Lacked a bit of quality today all over the pitch and intensity. Was happy to see rose and Jeremy starting as full backs. Wasn’t happy watching us keep trying to pass out from the back and don’t think wolves were to worried about it either as they kept letting them do it. Hopefully King scores sooner than later and gives him that bite to gamble a bit more. As some good balls got put in their box but we had no one attacking them. Next 2 games really important as these are going to shape our season. Is it me or have Wolves been the team to dent some good home runs in the past.? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I thought he was good today, I don't think his weight stopped him doing anything. He actually looked quite athletic flying into tackles and headers.
Completely disagree about Ngakia, but the rest is about right - particularly the horrible truth that it's our best team out there. Bachmann isn't a premier keeper and the rest are a rag tag bunch, who may click intermittently.
He was good, but that is entirely missing the point. He could be even better if he wasn’t overweight and there isn’t a reason on earth why he should be.
Yes, the horizontal stripes of the Watford shirt make him look unnaturally fat. Here this elegant Spurs plain white number, instantly makes him look super slim and trim.
3 games and no goals. Might as well try Pedro, Fletcher or Baah. Can’t be any worse than the dross that’s been served up in the last 3 games
Hello Watford fans, I'll be right back in London now, and I'll be back in Berlin tomorrow morning. First of all, I have to say that you are really friendly and helpful fans. The mood today was extraordinary. That was certainly also due to the Wolverhampton fans, but also to you. Are Wolverhampton fans among the best? In addition, the mood is completely different than in Germany. It's usually louder for us, but mostly it's only the curve that sets the mood and not the entire stadium. Now about the game: I found the first half pretty balanced from the dangerous situations. Watford has often missed the striker in the box. I also had the feeling that every action had to go through Sarr in order for it to be successful. In the second half there was no access whatsoever. The Wolves got better and better and then rightly "forced" the goal. In the end a deserved win for Wolverhampton. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I will certainly be there more often in the future.
Did a SSSSilva side concede from zonal marking at a set piece perchance. Chalobah playing in his favoured position as chief bench warmer too. Obviously, not risked as there was a stiff breeze and he also needed time to finish off his sandcastle.
Glad you had a nice time overall, sorry we couldn't get that win for you. Wolves fans' can be loud but wait till you see the Palarse fans' crying in the away end after Zaha gets a red card.
4 big mistakes in 4 games for 4 different players. We looked like a team that doesn't know each other, nor do they have a clue what they are doing. Xisco is on thin ice with Norwich around the corner.
Looking like we will have to have faith in a fat little Turk and a Brazilian kid who done ok in the league below. But completely agree with that summary and how right this comment of this is it this was our best 11 bar Kiko is very alarming. Next 2 games so so important not to lose Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The list of managers who have got wins against Norwich stretches back for millennia, so if Xisco doesn’t it is surely curtains.
I almost think the worse situation is for us to manage to squeak past Norwich, as we always do, by virtue of our more expensive/egotistical players coming up against the one opponent collectively technically worse than them and samba'ing their way to a flashy goal or two against what is effectively Championship opposition - it wouldn't be the first or second time that exact eventuality then acts as a sticking plaster, for which the club can pretend we're on the right path and claim it proves the team is really coming together, buying more time for the exact same mistakes to be made for weeks after against any other team who are actually of this level. Always tricky, because obviously we both want and need the three points, but we also need more than three points overall over the course of the rest of the season
Xisco - Nice bloke but tactically a disaster. We look incredibly one-dimensional. And his subs are just car-crash stuff. I still hold hope he can be successful but he needs to adapt to this level far quicker than he is, simple as that. But I will never pin the blame fully on him for anything this season - Gino tied one hand behind his back in the window and the squad has obvious holes in it. That’s 3 games on the spin now where we have looked stuck in 2nd gear without showing the motivation to improve. That cannot happen next week or will be bang in trouble already.
This was him in what looks like the same season as your previous picture, so it shows the difference camera angles make. I'm sure he's a suitable weight otherwise he wouldn't be playing.
He still looks significantly lighter in that picture. Even if you gnore his body, you can instantly see he's much fatter in the face right now. There is absolutely no denying that his bodyfat is higher than a professional footballers should be.
