incase you don't have a clue what im on about its the bar in vic rd somewhere, i just haven't looked round yet because i've been getting in seconds before kick off and don't know where it is

 

If it's in the Vic Road end then VR can only mean Very Restricted. Get down t' Rookery where we have a "proper" bar.

 

That would explain why, I haven't been to the ground since last season unfortunatly

 

it's the bar in the rookery, on the far left of the rookery.

I assumed they had put the 'V' signs up there on hearing upon myself finally making a home game, being a Rookery Bar virgin and all that . . .

 

And I bet you weren't too impressed, a poor selection and £3.50 a pint of Magners!

 

The selection is average but was fairly impressed with the screens showing different games, on teh food front the bacon rolls were suprisingly tasty as were the steak pies.

Not as big as Harry's bar was which was rammed solid every game, i really don't get why its so small as after 40 minutes or so you couldn't move in there. 12 people behind the bar all game which i was quite impressed with.

 

Absolutely rammed in there last night, so went downstairs to one of the kiosks where it was considerably less busy and there was plenty of space to stand.

 

is the bar the only pllace to get alcohol?

 

no , although its open after the game though. as well as being open alot longer before the game.

 

Ah yes, the healthy bacon rolls...
