Just hope him and Ismael have already had a chat, he won’t stand for any atttitude which Dennis has had issues with so hope boundaries have been set. But a player who wants to come back and help us is not a bad sign, especially when he’s played his best football here
OK but I was hoping we were building for next season. Happy to eat my hat if we get into and win POs but otherwise we are just plugging a hole with a good player for 4.5 months and need to recruit in the summer. Maybe the hype got me too excited of a stellar perm signing......some ace Albanian striker that no-one had heard of....

I take your point here but I’d also file this under an ‘exceptional’ circumstance; players like Dennis don’t become available for us everyday and we’re in the race for playoffs at the moment - I think it’s worth it, as if we were to go up I imagine there’s provisions to make the move permanent. If not, we’ve lost nothing given he’s (allegedly) taken a 70% pay cut. Also gives the recruitment folk time to do their homework on potential summer targets.
Worth noting on this, I was told last week we were very close to signing a striker and a midfielder but no names given on either. This is the striker, expect the midfielder in the coming days but the club have obviously got better at keeping things in house. Maybe the rumours about Giaretta were true after all
Gore isn't as highly rated as Garner was when he had his first loan spell with us, and considering how poor Garner was initially it's not a big surprise that Gore isn't coming here.

If we're actually in for him, Hazan and surprisingly Rodgers (who has stated a number of times how much he regrets the way he treated Watford) would certainly push him towards us of the teams interested. Likewise London would be a great place for him at this time. Suspect he ends up in the Bundesliga though.
Yeah I’m surprised we’re not in for him. Also surprised we’re not in for Mowatt. His contract expires in 6 months. Granted he’s been playing a major role at West Brom, and probably doesn’t want to leave, but their finances are worse than ours.
Styles gives more options to the setup. I cant bare the thought i watching Morris at left-back again. Styles can play anywhere down the left which hes done and centrally. If Sunderland get him in on loan with a view they've got a decent player. Only 23 too.
