Bubble. I have heard that the takeover has slowed down given a counter interest coming to the table. Are you able to confirm / comment without stating his name ? Thanks in advance.

I think I am going the same way, sharing info seems to be hard work now.

 

Just look at what I said, and believe it or don't believe it. To be honest whether you believe me or not is completely irrelevant to me, but don't go asking silly questions or ask me to justify myself.

 

Bidding war.. not something I expected to hear when talking about our takeover.

 

The one thing that concerns me if Russo's would be one of the interested parties, I know people do not want to confirm who is interested, which is fair enough, but can people confirm that they are not one of the parties involved in bidding?

the thing is why ask for his source, we know for a FACT that LBH is in the know, so why ask him to reveal his source and possibly get people into trouble.

 

So Warner Bros. buying us and linking up with the Leavesden Studios then!

Thanks for the link cude, interesting read. with LBH's confirmation of counter interest coming to the table, perhaps the two involved parties are that of the major italian shareholder in SEGRO and the other something to do with Sainsbury's? Both have been repeatedly suggested.

 

I think I've got you! If i'm right, that makes sense.

I appreciate that your sources probably need to be protected, but if you have a relevant piece of info to share, please do so in PLAIN ENGLISH!!!, and cut out all the cloak and dagger stuff :rant::rant::rant:

 

Because it might jeopardise takeover proceedings if key information became public...

 

I've been thinking. Don't shoot me down as this may be completely impractical and is a shot in the dark but someone quoting Sainsburys has given me an idea.

Sainsburys have a site in north Watford opposite Asda

WATFORD
WD25 9JS

On the back of that site is a sports complex. There's loads of room, parking good road and rail links and there's plenty of room for a new stadium.


Sainsburys have competition from a much larger ASDA store there. Would it be sensible for them to replace their city centre store by redeveloping the Vic with all the hospital and town trade there? Their store up at the top of the highstreet could be converted to flats? There's Tescos but no other Supermarket competition that close to town.

 

To add a bit more fuel to my Saisburys theory fire. Apparently there is a lot of Qatari investment in Sainsburys and for obvious reasons Qatar are quite interested in football at the moment.

 

It might be something that you might suggest, should you have been in a group of people in charge of such decisions, looking to buy out the club... But if this is right it's an incredible guess heheh.

 

The new owners were at the ground on Friday with a tape measure. Strange but true. The chap in front of me at the game yesterday is an employee of the club (academy) and he doesn't know who they are. He also said we're getting a CB in on loan as well as Mutch returning.

 

Forgot to add that they will also offer MM a new contract. One of the chaps involved has been watching the club for a year and is impressed.
