Are farcical. The thought process behind these prices must have been non-existent, only just after the xmas period and most people and families will be pretty much skint, especially those going to the 3 forthcoming away games. £18 is ridiculous and i shall seriously consider weather i shall go or not.
I have read the FA demand adult prices to be at least £15 and I bet Stockport had a say as they want to make the most money possible... Does seem rather expensive when it will probably be a really dull, boring, uninteresting match.

defo not going even tho mines only 8 quid its a waste of cash im gunna be broke after christmas as it is and wen u think about it 5 quid for to go to fulham and yet 8 quid to see stockport cum here its just stupid
I'm suprised jobr hasn't commented on this. He can get this backed up next time he speaks to Ashton or Simpson. And this is what happened. WFC wanted to charge 15 and 5. Fair enough. SCFC said that was belittlering them and the competition, and stopping them making more money. So moaned and said 20 and 10. WFC said no don't be daft. So it went to the FA and they said meet half way so the prices were set at 18 and 8. With trips to Liverpool, Newcastle and Man City so close together numerous fans must be in a debate over this one. Maybe that Auto-Ticket scheme was a good idea by the club!!!

That is a disgrace, they would be pricing alot of their fans out of going and to think of charging 20 quid is a joke. 15 and 5 is reasonable but obviously money came before anything else (inc. fans) as far as Stockport county goes and thus the Fa had to set the prices.
I went on the Stockport sight and they have managed to clearly advertise the fact that a concession includes an under 19 which by accident or not our sight fails to do so. Therefore leaving most people, myself included thinking that a concession was the traditional (with WFC anyway) under 16. Money making ploy from WFC perhaps ??
maybe when practically no one turns up people will give it a bit more thought. i told my son on saturday we would definitely go to the stockport game and to be honest an extra few quid wouldn't stop me but if there is strong feeling against it i may just save my money. in our position a long cup run may not be the best thing for us.
Or maybe its just our crap website and I doubt it would be different for 2 sets of fans. Anyway the club would just have to still divide the money up.
I have seen alot of conflict in interest between what our website says, what fans are told and what other clubs sources say. Needs to be addressed.
Eighteen quid... ...for a 3rd Round FA Cup tie!!! Brilliant!!!! Bring it on... Aidy has been banging on about us and Europe all season... ...We are hard to play against ...We don't let many teams play their natural game ...We don't let many goals in 1st Cup Final at the NEW Wembley!!! Strikers to be bought in January!! FA Cup run coming up!!!.................if only we can start scoring a few!!!! £18.00........................its a SNIP!!! YOU 'ORRRRRRNNNNNNSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I suppose then if it was £32.00 against a Prem team we wouldnt be complaining! If we draw and have to go to Stockport we will end up paying the same amount anyway. Or would you prefer an away match against Chelsea? The cup run is all about the little teams at this stage and if Stockport can make a few bob out of us then fair deal to them. If you want to save a few quid then dont have two pints before the match or dont buy a programme and you are quids in.
I was absolutely praying for an away game, seen as I'm back from France then. Away games are always much more fun. Ah well, I'll be there regardless.
Spot on. If you could buy a Season Ticket for Away matches who would buy one, even if it meant you couldn't have a home one?
I would have both as i go home and away every week. If I could only have ONE then I would take the away one before a home one. proper support, good laugh, not as many plastics as at home.
Several clubs offer home and away season tickets. You pay for your home ST as normal and give them a set amount for your away one. (Usually £250). Then when you're £250 is used up you just pay the rest by Direct Debit. On a similar principal as Auto-Cup Tickets but for Away matches.
