Dj I am in my thirties.

Always been a Horn, go home and away.

Now live In Surrey, so a home game is around a 130 mile round trip.

99% of away games are obviously a lot more as they tend to be up the M1.

I am not married, but have two kids who live in Belfast.

I fully understand other peoples financial constraints.

I love my club and as such on my list of priorities it is right up there, i can't always afford to go, but that is when i whack it all on the old CC's.

I missed a couple of games last season as I usually go to The Maldives every Jan, I won't make that mistake this year and having been to Denmark etc pre season I hope not to miss a first team game all season.

I take it you dive in the maldives? If so how qualified are you?

    Can't dive, asthma.

But you don't need to, don't think there is much me and my underwater camera haven't seen just by snorkelling.

  15. Echo

    Echo Squad Player

really, I thought that didn't make that much of a difference when diving? Unless it's really bad asthma?

Been to the maldives once, didn't see anything like your photos when snorkelling (didn't dive then).

The biggest shark I saw was about 2 foot long:(

  16. firefly

    firefly Jay´s Jar of Nutella

dont you get scared youre going to get eaten by a shark??

  17. Echo

    Echo Squad Player

not a two foot one, no;)

On my last holiday i only saw angel sharks, they are smaller than me, so not really that scary really

Generally as long as you dive at the right time, don't have any open cuts that are bleeding and respect them, i.e. don't get in their way or try to tocuh them or wind them up you won't have any problems with them.

More scary being 24 meters under water and wondering how ill it'll make you if you had to swim straight to the surface, or in fact if you could actually make it!

  18. firefly

    firefly Jay´s Jar of Nutella

Yeah, I don't think I'd be very good at that kind of thing. I snorkelled once in Thailand and I freaked out because you can't hear anything, or see all around, so anything could sneak up on you!

try doing a night dive, one side harbour wall, other side, blackness, blackness and more blackness:eek:

I am actually afraid of open water, when at the beach I never go out of my depth in the sea, I started to dive to get over this fear.

You can hear alot under water than you would think. Most things will avoid you, although some of the little ones like to chew your hair:eek:

It is amazing underwater, a different world and worth trying even if you decide you don't like it after a try dive.

Any form of asthma requires you to get an insurance certificate prior to diving.

because mine is quite bad, no chance.
