Yes Mrs TuT just told me she had mental
health troubles as did her son who killed himself after escaping from suicide watch at a hospital. I guess she may have taken her own life too ? So terribly sad.

Oh no. Could never happen. In (rare) agreement, though.

Fixed it best I could. It's because it treats the ' character as the continuation of the previous word.

Back on topic, I cannot believe she has gone. Amazing voice and a well respected person in the music industry. Had several of her albums growing up and she will always be remembered fondly for that onc special song. Sinead, as you once sang, "nothing will ever compare to you."

RIP Songbird of the Irish. xxxx

Very sad . A forthright , original woman who lived her life to the values she believed in .

She was a very troubled soul, who at one time I really disliked when London was regularly being targeted by the IRA. She supported them. Over time I mellowed towards her and actually felt very sorry for her in recent years.

A beautiful singer, with a sadness that seemed to be a constant for her. By all accounts a lovely person, but that troubled soul seemed to be a nagging burden for her. Not universally popular and particularly disliked by the catholic church and some Americans, for her publicising crimes and wrongdoing. Very sad for her to go so young. Her wonderful voice and forthright views will be her lasting legacy.

Sad to see her go. 'Nothing Compares' is a fitting tribute.

Apparently she once tore up a photograph of the Pope

Something of the Cassandra about her with her protest against child abuse in the Catholic Church. Most people discounted her as a raving lunatic or controversial for the sake of it.

Have to admire her for sticking to her principles, no matter the cost.

I know Prince wrote it, but Nothing Compares 2 U is one of those records which I consider absolute perfection. It's not my type of music but there are no flaws in the single whatsoever.
