As football supporters we really should understand the game. You'd think after all the football we've seen (28 seasons at Watford for me) we'd know when someone has had a good game or not. Take Gavin Mahon everyone who posted on here last night said what a great performance he'd had, lead by example, gave everything. How little we know when the official line for his performance on sky's player ratings is a 5 with the comment of "out of his depth". I think we should adopt the Millwall song "nobody likes us"
How can they say that? He gave his all and went in without fear and showed that we werent the whipping boys, he along with Lee and Shittu and even smith played very wel last night for my book and to give him a 5 is complete tosh!
I didn't go or watch the game so I cannot coment, but if what everyone on here has said is true about Gav's performance, it is a shame.
