    Not yet, but I imagine tickets will appear within the app nearer to the matches.

    To be fair to Watford, it's not like they've had 18 months of no fans entering the ground to implement a new system.

    For me on android, the app still takes me to the old ticketmaster/fanscore system when I click the tickets button. It doesn't link to the new Seatgeek system. I made sure the app was the latest version by deleting it & re-downloading it today from the app store. I can't find any way of getting into the new ticket system on my phone other than using a browser. I can't help thinking that's not right.

    Believe it's just the normal Watford FC app, which is what they used last season. If it's not then who knows?

    The club emailed me to say season tickets won't be loaded onto the app until the end of July, so I'm gonna sit tight and hope for the best.

    More worryingly, when I click on "Find My Tickets" in the app & then click on the 'email address used to purchase tickets with' I get a message saying 'unable to find an account with id....[email address]' although in the Tickets section of the club website, all the home league games are listed. The ticket office have replied to my email query saying 'it'll all be sorted before the Villa game.' I am somewhat dubious about that.

    The most recent email from the club says you have to have downloaded the latest version of the app. I downloaded it when they sent out the initial blurb in May, so I assume that is the latest version, or am I wrong?

    Same here. I've used the same email address since the internet was invented, but WFC seem to have forgotten it.

    I forgot my season ticket once, or rather I discovered my daughter had removed it when playing with my wallet, and so I went to the ticket office. They asked a couple of questions, charged me a fiver and gave me a new season ticket card. I'm sure they will have provision for phones dying/going flat etc. The first few games will be tricky as people get used to it.

    The key for the club is accepting a good proportion of people just won't get it to work straight away and make sure they've got plenty of people on hand to shepherd them away and help them. All it'd need is a couple of people to get stuck at the front of the turnstile queue but no knowing where to go to get it sorted and the whole thing'll melt down.

  17. Not having a ticket didn't seem to be an issue at Euro 2020 final. Try tailgating or if that fails bunging the steward ten bob.

    I used tickets on my phone for 3 games at the Euros and it worked no problem. Also did the same for the Nations League Finals, again no issues.

    I used an app called Passes to enter venues at the Panamerican Games in Lima 2 years ago, the passes have a QR code that was scanned on entry, surely QR code rather than NFC is the simpler way to go?

    Instead of actually trying to fix the app the ticket office have just decided to send me paper tickets for the Barnsley friendly instead......

    Tried to log in to my ticket account, directed to set up ‘new’ account. Promised email with linky hasn’t arrived, which is a faff as my email hasn’t changed in nearly ten years.

    So now I’ll have to contact the club. An object lesson in how to create extra work for already busy staff and inconvenience for customers.

    Check your junk folder, that’s where mine went.
    Once they loaded the friendlies tickets to the new system it was plain sailing for me.

    Season tickets will be loaded closer to the time apparently, they’re just catching up.

    Phones (or as James Kirk calls them, communicators) are now so ubiquitous i cant see why people would prefer carrying a bespoke entry token to using a phone with the technical capacity to store the ticket and communicate to the gate technology.

    I would never forget my phone on the way to a match, its essential. I use it to check and buy my railway journey, my pre match and post match commiseration pint. Checking results in other games and sending my useful insights during the game.

    Adding admission tickets to the phone, means just another very specific item i don’t need to store and carry on the day.

    Mask wearing has slowed down my phone use as it wants to use face recognition to open up, so i hope we wont have to wear them on the approaches to the turnstile. If there is going to be carnage, it will be if we have to show a Covid passport and ticket on the phone. That will slow down admission

    The club’s own message suggests the junk filter, but it’s not there.

    It’s bad data migration. I had logged in successfully in May to sort out my ST. Now they don’t even know me. :(

    Well if you go instead of me my son usually has a hot chocolate or a coke and my mates a pint of lager each. And can you sing up please? Try to annoy the old gits who sit in front of us in the Rookery. Ok older gits.

    I wanted to buy a home ticket for a family member to attend with me and been told I'm in band 4. I find it hard to believe there are 3 bands higher than me as a season ticket holder that has attended every game for 40 years. Gone are the days when season ticket holders got first choice.

    Makes sense though, as there are people in Cat A and B who’ve presumably been to more home games than your family member and so should have higher priority. It’s your family member’s buying history that determines explains why they’re 4th in line, not yours. You’ve already got your ticket.

    I think season ticket holders have had the lowest priority for home league games for sometime now.
