    After how Dennis has turned out I won't jump the gun on this one. Koln fans thought he was complete crap and Brugge fans were very unfussed about him leaving besides the fee being so low.

    Looks like he has the right attributes to potentially succeed at this level with pace and dribbling ability, and literally cannot be any more useless than Sema, so he looks worth a go for such a small fee.

    I think there are far better uses of 3-4m for our squad, but I have learnt that isn't how the Pozzos operate so I should stop getting annoyed about it.

    At least he looks an improvement on Sema.

    The bloke is very, very good indeed. He is still a bit raw but will be a great asset from the bench. Very quick, very skilful, very direct. Him and Cucho can play a half each. I would liken his potential to Quina’s. But because he’s more willing to play a simple game, he’s further down the road in realising that potential. He can even get back and defend. Mark my words, Bordeaux fans might sound indifferent or dismissive, but they’ll be watching his progress with regret.

    What’s my source? I watched that YouTube video twice.

    Not thrilled, but not mad. I’m expecting nothing but hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

    Surely Sema will be off to Udinese? Our squad is getting very bloated now (and I’d still want a CB, if not also a DM and a GK!).
