Well as im currently holidaying in the States so wasnt at the game, however my friend commented that Donnie were sharper, more creative and tactically had our number...so is that down to the players or the coach?

I disagree, yes we could/should have close the game down, Beppe was not perfect, who is? Even teams going up get beaten sometimes. I'm not a Beppe apologist, I too would like the best brought out of everyone and if Beppe was responsible for the unrest then he had to go. Whether or not the other teams we played in the league were of a lesser standand, they still have to be beaten no match is a guarenteed 3 points in this league. Even the Blackpool game coming up in a couple of weeks on paper that should be an 'easy' 3 points but anything can happen.

Please find the post where I said he was wrong or making things up. It was the constant droning on about it after every game regardless of if we had won, lost or drew and the sensationalist way he reported it that I had a problem with.

 

Yes yes but you missed the point...it wasnt the defeat it was the manner of defeat...we capitulated and fell apart...if your tactics are right...that doesnt happen...you may lose by the odd goal or 2 if youre trying get a goal...but we collapsed quickly.

If we keep it factual, Frank Smith has reported correctly without being sensationalist and done his job well. I'm sure he knows a lot more about the situation than has been published to date.
Let's remember that the Italian second tier is a whole heap weaker than our Championship - in reality we took a guy on who managed at a low level his whole career, with the occasional success, but a lot of sackings also.

Abdi, Tozser, Munari, Deeney, Vydra, Forestieri, Angella - these are gifts from the gods - you would have to be on the wrong side of inept not to tackle Rotherham, Bolton, Leeds and Huddersfield with that lot at your disposal. I watched him closely at Borehamwood pre-season, he's not the full ticket, barking surnames out, cursing and moaning. This squad did not want to play for that - time to move on to bigger and better things.

 

And i dont want Pulis anywhere near my club ergo....

Apparently he's been very sensationalist according to the sensitive souls out there who don't like reading negative press about the goings on at Watford. I'd love to see some examples of this sensationalism.
