Absolutely awful clip emerging from a Winchester walkabout, on a par with Gordon Brown at his most ungracious. The Telegraph describes the woman as ‘heckling.’ I don’t believe that’s a reasonable description. He just laughs at her and walks off. Terrible optics.
Apparently there’s a different clip that shows he carries on the conversation with the lady (not excusing the laugh) However, as the Tory media will already be looking for their bacon sandwich/falling over in the sea moment this year, I’m happy to judge him on the edited clip What a ****!!
Well, if he did then maybe he gets the benefit of the doubt. However, it’s interesting that The Telegraph doesn’t wish to give him that. The ‘bastards’ are circling for him.
Regardless of the did he/didn't he aspect of the edited video, that has to be fakest laugh I've ever heard. My parrot is more convincing.
