Heard on facebook that Ruslip and Eastcote are targets tonight.

 

Met Police have confirmed that rubber bullets are available for all officers tonight. (I assume they mean all officers trained to use them?)

 

If only they had the firearms to use them with

I've just been to the Harlequin and there's groups of kids hanging around talking about the trouble in Watford, despite the fact there isn't any.

 

But that isn't a good reason to shut twitter/facebook down. There are loads of places that currently have 10x the normal amount of police on the streets as a precaution, but people interpret that to mean that something is expected. If they didn't then spread that by Twitter/Facebook it would be via something else.

I hear sky news have a ticker saying where in London is UNGUARDED. That is ludicrous, but who's asking them to shut Sky down (apart from me :naughty

Sorry, the shops in Watford Junction station have all been told to close, how do I know this, because I work above it and went down to get a drink. Local businesses have been told to shut up shop too.

The only things that are confirmed are a few banks have closed early, and Richer Sounds has boarded up, oh and the cafes in the town have taken their tables/chairs inside.
