Your attacks on your imagined 'affluent fake socialists' is baffling. Why is it hard to imagine that people who are doing okay, or even pretty well, would like to curb outright corruption, greed, naked self-interest, stupidity and general awfulness and ensure that society is fairer and distribution of wealth more even? In the other thread you stick up for homeowners and those who have inherited well, which flies in the face of some of your other comments. Now, I know life is not simple and it is actually possible to hold several seemingly conflicting points of view, but it partly comes across as the politics of envy, or the politics of anger. And while it might be irritating if journalists called Jon and Jeremy point out that it's taken 45 minutes to get through passport control at Geneva airport on their way to Chamonix, that same friction is contributing to many goods and services becoming more expensive for everyone, which hits the poorest first and it hits them hardest. So, if there's anything fake around here, I suggest a little look in another direction.

It's truly bizarre how many people make it out to be some kind of hardship. I've worn at facemask around injection mold presses and it was still perfectly viable, albeit a little stiffling at times. The temperature around those is well beyond what most people will experience in most aspects of their lives.
