Seems the aide asked where did this lady come from which appears to be a fairly harmless question but maybe depends on the tone and way it’s asked .

And well obviously serious enough for there to be a resignation and the Palace accepting it .

EDIT: Having seen the full BBC article seems this aide was very persistent and wouldn’t let the matter go .

It got worse. She then chased some poor fellow around the room demanding to know where his ancestors were really from, until he finally disclosed they were German.

And then, apparently, she reached into her handbag and pulled out a swastika armband, put it on and goose-stepped around the room doing a straight arm salute and shouting 'there ain't no black in the Union Jack so send the buggers back'. It's all over twitter

All over Twitter people pretending as if she was someone’s sweet old nan and not someone with a 64 year career in meeting dignitaries. Someone as close as you can be to the Royal Family without being in it.

She’s probably been dishing out this sort of welcome for years as a bit of sport.

I'm sure there are plenty of characters lurking in the shadows who haven't managed to move with the times. The Royal Household has to undergo some kind of reform. There certainly seem to be too many 'courtiers' for our new hip slimmed down monarchy.

    Yep.

I don’t believe that every clumsy or even offensive bit of behaviour requires a sacking. It’s usually fine for people to have the problem explained and then move on. However, it was perfectly reasonable to call it out and to expect someone with her experience of dealing with people not to understand the issue as well as a younger person.

But the Royal Family is in desperate damage limitation mode, having gone down the rabbit-hole of trying to be an inclusive but also hereditary and hierarchical institution. That’s simply impossible and that’s why we don’t need them anymore.

Meant above that she should have been expected to understand it as well as someone younger. It was her role to.

The backlash gathers pace as the usual suspects circle to pour scorn on a black woman who dares to complain. Ngozi Fulani joins Doreen Lawrence and many other unfortunate objects of nationalist hate.

There have been some very 'thought provoking' posts from the ludicrous Calvin Robinson at GB News of late:

They were changed - originally I thought he had been hacked but this appeared on POPBITCH:

  15. The stupid thing is that Ms Fulani could only have 'planned it' if she was sure someone in the Royal Household was going to do a racism.

I've discussed this over lunch today and the general consensus is that Lady Susan was trying to say 'what organisation are you from?' or 'whereabouts in England are you from?' and Ngozi - being the sort of person who sees racial put-downs in most things - was only too pleased to see the harmless smalltalk as an insult. Case closed

Whilst a lot of people are frothing at the mouth about what some entitled old bint said to another .
And to my certain knowledge an entitled old bag would talk down to a white working class oik like me.
No one is talking about the news that is currently being buried because of everyone frothing at the mouth .

So why aren’t you talking about the unpleasantness directed at Doreen Lawrence? She lost a son, the Police wouldn’t investigate it robustly, because he was black and even though everyone knew who the racists were who did it.

And to this day she is abused by thousands of racists and nationalists on social media.

But apparently it’s Black Lives Matter that is racist.

This whole debacle has kicked off the most nauseating wave of white victimhood.

Hopefully this is clear enough, but if you care about white people and people in general, don’t support a Ruling Class that makes it necessary for them go to foodbanks.

The whole kitchen sink is being thrown now, including Neil Oliver, in portentous and solemn tones, bemoaning the ‘sinister plot’ to cancel Christmas. What a thick ****.

  26. You know why black people like "Barbara Headley or whichever alias she chooses" change their names don't you? Or do you think that her West African ancestors originally came from Tyne & Wear before being dragged off to Jamaica, and not because Headley was the name of the plantation owner who bought them?

  30. What has that got to do with her being lumbered with the name of the people who bought her ancestors? You really are a pr*ck.

By the way, it's divisive, not devisive. I suppose not being able to spell is part of your working class credentials though, eh?

If I go to an event wearing my kilt, I know someone is going to ask me where I am from, particularly if they are from Scotland. Often, the people who ask me will be from minorities. They will, sometimes (most commonly if they are from Japan/China), ask to have a picture taken with me.

I work in a very diverse, predominantly minority workforce, and I have never raised the subject of this thread in conversation. However, in every case so far where this subject has been brought up, every time by someone from a minority (particularly people of African heritage), the offended party in the incident has been castigated as a race baiter, calling her behaviour racist, and I have ended up defending her; not by disagreeing that she got what she was looking for, but by saying that the courtier did seem to be a little too persistent for her own Good.

So, from my direct experience, it appears that middle class, left wing white men of a certain age are far more offended and outraged than young professional African and Asian people are about the whole thing.

But what is the experience of everyone on here? When talking to their African and Asian friends. Are they agreeing with the white left wing view? Or are they, as in my own experience, finding the offended person's behaviour to be suspect to the point where they seriously question her motivations?

And should we respect the view of these African and Asian people? I certainly respect their view, even if I thought they were being a little harsh. But I know that not everyone trusts the views of certain minorities, despite a certain poster mentioning a few weeks ago that minority people have a superior understanding of racism than we do. It would be interesting to see now if that person thinks the same way when minorities are disagreeing with him.

It is Good to be in the presence of a diverse workforce, when it has been achieved organically, rather than by quota. I think we can all benefit from hearing alternative views from people we differ with.

With regard to the offended lady, I do think she is a race baiter, and I suspect she is far more of a racist than the average human being. She has a background in CRT and she new the reaction she would get from wearing African styles to an event. I would be very surprised if she doesn't get asked similar questions from minority people when she wears such gear, from personal experience, and wonder if the courtier was even the only person to ask her on that day. But that proves nothing.

But if someone is acting in a racially motivated manner towards her, it is wrong. I guess the only question then, is whether she treated the courtier differently because of the colour of HER skin. Racism, despite what left wing activists would like us to believe, still swings both ways.

So what about the racists, nationalists, ardent Brexiteers? What is their view of Doreen Lawrence? Of the Macpherson report?

We’ve heard your view of BLM often. So what about them? What’s their old skool?
