Looks like it to me Knight GT, Sema at LWB fair enough, Gaspar I can only presume is only playing there because Ferreira isn't ready. Davis is perhaps lucky to keep his place, but I reckon he might be more useful in a front two, it looks to me as though he's in a front 2 with Sarr
Araujo possibly too, although it might not be the best reflection on him that he can't get in the team even with this fresh start
Will be interesting to see how he uses Pedro. He hasn`t been used to suit the system to the full earlier.
In fairness, 3-atb with wingbacks isn’t necessarily a defensive formation at all, just because it involves 3 centre backs - entirely depends on the approach and tactics deployed within that framework.
Asprilla certainly earned his place to start after last week. How Davis starts again is anyone's guess. Unless he does the bullying to play in Sarr (who isn't a striker). If we are going to up top then play Araujo. He's nimble and is the polar opposite of Davis, so a balance of the two. I hope Kone' gets some minutes and I too would like to know where Morris is?
Can we label him as a 3-4-1-2 manager instead? The 1 either being JP getting further forward, or more likely just representing Davis not being bothered and standing around.
I reckon a 3-4-3 with Pedro and Sarr either side of Davis. Regardless of formation will Wilder succeed where Bilic failed? It’s the same players with no drastic changed on paper

3-5-2 is pretty much 3-4-1-2, you’re just asking one player to attack a bit more. Where do you draw the line? Choudhury is holding, does it become 3-1-3-1-2? If a CB is a sweeper, does it become 1-2-1-3-1-2?

It looks like a pretty flat 343 in the opening minutes. JP on the left of the 3, rather than as the 10. Sarr and JP both high up quite close to Davis.
