'Point Break' live stage adaptation (Seriously!)

I couldn't make this up...

The production notes say that what makes this staging unique (!) is that the role of Keanu reeves is cast from a member of the audience each night who reads the entire script off of cue cards to assure that patented cardboard Keanu Reeves delivery.

 

I don't think this piece of hilarity is getting the due it deserves.

i watched it all again last night while having a frozen super cider. baaaaaare quotage!

 

Point Break is one of the most gloriously brilliant films ever.

Anyways, i dont appreciate the Keanu joke!! He is a BRILLIANT actor. End of.

 

I liked him in Bill and Ted's...but not as much as I liked the other guy.

 

Point Break is a masterfull film and Bill and Ted was almost as good. I once saw Keanu's band Dogstar at Reading I think, pure shocking, about as good as the rest of his films.

 

I always thought Ted from Bill & Ted was meant to be stoned until he appeared in Point Break and countless other films. Point Break is brilliant if you can look past Keanu's acting.

 

Well the other guy's English so it's only natural that he's funnier/the better actor etc..

 

Interesting and true.

Imagine that? Keanu tried out for Bill but got Ted and Alex tried out for Ted but got Bill! I can't tell the two idiots apart.
