Was his last game under Muñoz? If so that would be some sort of record for a loan player to have played under two different managers yet not played under one in the intervening 4 months.

 

Has anyone thought about giving him a go up front?

 

I'm really pleased to have him back, and hopefully he will be as good as before he got his injury.

However it is very likely he will be a little rusty at first because of his long lay off, but providing he is as good as he was before he got injured he will probably be a big plus factor in our fight for PL survival.

Is Etebo just another case of a player being better by not being in the team? Sure he was decent enough when he was fit and would be worth the low agreed fee - but he wasn’t exactly ripping it up either. Solid enough but no great shakes either. He didn’t massively stand out.

Etebo actually played the whole game against Villa in what was the first game of the season and a comfortable win until the Masina made it not so comfortable in the last minute, you never know he and Uncle Woy may make all the difference in getting some more victory’s
