Ironically the push that Fessi did on Sako was the same as we were screaming for a red card last week.

Embarrassing. In my opinion for incidences such as this he should get fined by the club and receive a 1-2 match ban, and obviously removing Sako's.

 

I feel as much anger for FF as I did for Houlihan a couple of weeks ago. A real sour taste in my mouth.

It goes to show referees make decisions on player reaction and not because they have seen the incident.
Expect will be appealed and over turned.

Oh **** off. If anything, Fernando pushes Sako. They've both got their handbags out and Fessi goes down clutching his face and gets Sako sent off. If that happens to us, we'd be up in arms.

Forestieri has great passion for Watford and I admire that, but there is no room at Watford for that sort of stuff. He should be getting his head down and working hard for a place in the team, with the competition he has. Instead he's embarrassing the club with the little gametime he gets. The sooner Ighalo is back, the better.

 

Well, i don't think Hoban should have been sent off, so maybe Forestieri decided to play other people's tricks and take the law into his own hands. What hasn't been mentioned is that we could have had a penalty in the second half, but Forestieri stayed on his feet.

 

Sako pushed him. Obviously didn't warrant that reaction but they definitely both raised their hands to each other. Booking each probably. It's not like it's the first time he's taken a tumble in his three years with us so did the people who want him out of the club want the same punishment after he was sent off for diving at Charlton a few years ago for example? The guy is a big talent, he's been stuck on the bench and still loves it here. We're lucky to have him because when he's on it he's incredible, just look at the Leeds game earlier this season.

 

I've just changed my mind Sako is innocent and I hope his red gets reduced or overturned.

Sako reacted and Forestieri did what 99% of players would have done.
If Wolves hadn't all jumped up in unison to get Tommy sent off I may have had some sympathy. Shame on you Kenny.

It isn't okay, and I was the first in the thread to criticise him.

But given the strong reactions, I do think that if he would have scored that sitter earlier, there would be a fair few more on here defending him.

It's embarrassing, but I'd rather have a go at Fessi for his bottling of key scoring opportunities than what we see above.

 

Fessi's acting was a DISGRACE....he should have been sent off

and he continues to waste chances

 

TBH, at first sight of the video I was shocked and embarassed by Nando's acting, but now that you point out that ... watching carefully Sako's left hand might really touch Nando's face or eye.
Mind, nothing that justifies falling down as if hit by Mike Tyson's punch, but there might be contact.
I hope there will be some views from another angle, to be sure.

 

I'm amazed people are getting so angry about this. Player pushed, player falls over and makes a meal of it. Red card has no influence on the game. Who cares? I think players surrounding the ref's is a far bigger issue and teams have done the same to us all season.

Calling for a player to never wear a Watford shirt because he goes down easily? That's embarrassing.

 

I'm not going to condone what he did, but we've been f****d by diving, play acting, and 5hit referees all season

Really poor from Fessi, even if Sako's hand was raised it was no more than a gentle push. When the ban gets overturned the club could easily give Fessi a one game ban to take a stand against faking injury. It's pathetic that some of our fans are quite happy for our players to cheat but go mad when opposition players commit similar offences.

Very poor from Fessi, who let's be honest has form for diving. I think people on here apologising for or excusing him need to take off their yellow tinted spectacles.

It is as bad as Hoolihan's dive all though the consequences of that one were greater. Assuming Sako's red is over-turned, this incident won't really have harmed Wolves in any way.

No punishment for Bournemouth's two blatant dives last season, for Wilson's swan dive in the week. For their barracking of refs. No reaction by the Norwich fans like this for the Hoolahan dive. For Jerome's attempt to get Ekstrand sent off. Nothing.

When the FL change the rules for EVERYONE and start banning people for diving, I shall agree that Fernando is at fault. But in this league where 'footballing morality' died a long time ago, I couldn't care less and even raise a smile that we are learning to 'manage the game' like all the rest do.
