Post your 'nice win' story on here.

yesterday carduff v florist i did a lay of under 10 corners for a decent amount of loss - looking for over 12 which i had topped up to make a profit of £180+ to a loss of £130 if under 10 and a win of £33ish if 10-12.

watching the game i thought how good florist were but had no killer touch near the goal without their main strikers. Only 3 first half corners i resigned myself to a struggle to even get to the 10 corners required to not lose the bet and show a small profit. The second half didn't produce much in the first 10-15 minutes and with i think was about 25 minutes to go still needed 5 more corners - at least with florist going down 1-0 i could surely rely on them to attack with more urgency whilst carduff would remain counter attacking at pace. Gradually the corners came and i hit the safety net of 10 corners, meaning no loss and guaranteed small profit.

i turned my attention to the match odds having for a few minutes liked the way florist kept going and started using the wing more. I finally took the plunge at 1.13 cardiff lay for £190 win or £26 loss, to come out of the corners winnings - nothing gained nothing lost but thought it was a good bet with florist pressing for the equaliser.

hey ho - bang 1-1 thank you very much - layed the draw as insurance for an even bigger win at 1.05 - but that didn't happen - but hey ho - a nice little win on a sunday afternoon, courtesy of the John Harley winnings for anytime goalscorer v sheff wed.

Added to that the betting foru i do my wfc blog, tipped up a value horse bet at carlisl;e at 20's+ which i took £40 on betfiar pre race - in running i layed the horse at 8.8 which duly faded and didn't win - a small suprise profit there of £25.

Poker at pwaed stweet tonight - keep the winnings rolling - hopefully.

Minor by comparison but the lovely folk at SkyBet gave me a £5 freebie last week so I put the lot on the Arse v Scouse cup tie in the week - went for Draw HT/Arse FT at 21/5 in the end following omr's advice about better value on that market. Nice to get £21 out of Murdoch without any risk.

John and Edward have made me £40 in the last 2 weeks by NOT being removed from X-Factor. When they publish the voting figures I'll decide weather I can get away with another week.

All my sports bets have lost, without exception.

india v aussies - in running - green both teams £50+, it bertter not be an uckin tie.:dismay:

India need 56 off 53 balls with tree wickets remaining, wood you believe them in doin it?

kin hell 47 runs off 48 balls, 3 wickets to go - aussies were 1.10 which i layed to get my greenies on india.... aussies went to 1.5, back now to 1.10 on the wicket - good this stuff is for betting.

ended with a £56 profit having seen aussies as high as 7/1 on betfair, but was in for enough at lower odds before the indians good start.

HAVING BEEN BASHED OUT OF A POKER TOURNIE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO by a mouthy scummy florist fan when he went all in with a call to me and showed pocket 2's against my winning hand -

This Wednesday gone - i had pocket 2's, one player goes all in, another goes all in and i still had chips remaining if i lost went all in.

They show Pocket j's, pocket 7's - flop nothing, turn 2, river nothing - uck off!

went on and shared top two prixe fund, equally.

Of to the sportsman tonight - I wonder if OMR will be there?

I got 4 numbers on the lottery on Saturday and won 90 quid. Not bad, considering I brought tickets accidently when I was meant to get Fri Euro Millions instead and hadn't done the lottery in over 7 years :)

All that went pear shaped though when I found some c*** had cloned my bank card on Thursday and tried (and luckily failed) to withdraw loads of cash from my bank. Well done Natwest for once on your quick service!
