Odd one here, a very small twitter account has claimed we're signing Nacho Heras from Recreativo Huelva in the Spanish 3rd tier for €1m, and today his club have announced that he's leaving. I've apparently seen him play 70 mins against the team in Spain I'm working for this season but I don't recall absolutely anything about his performance.

Can apparently play a striker or winger but his stats are underwhelming with no goals in 450 mins this season and 1 goal in the Spanish 4th tier last season. His best seasons came in 21/22 and 20/21 where he scored 35 goals across the 2 seasons - although this was in the Spanish 4th + 5th tiers. At 26 years old this is very bizarre one on paper.

 

Good god hope this isn't true. Despite the limitless opportunities for puns.

 

Got a ready made chant at least: "Who are ya!"

 

Another local Spanish journalist reckons he's off to Steau Bucharest which seems much more likely.
