Not usually my cup of tea at all that music, but I find that song to be passable.

I've been listening to a lot of The Smiths/Talking Heads lately.

Are you one of those saddos who will sit commenting under the video saying 'hate this song it copies the stone roses omg so sh** not as good as the original'. The Stone Roses sampled a song for when they made Fools Gold. Get over it. It's a good song, yeah he sampled it, and obviously has permission but who actually gives a f**k, the Stone Roses clearly don't as they gave permission for it for a little cash...

Yes, I would be so sad to comment on stuff on youtube! :rolleyes:Actually I think Example and Wretch 32 have sampled it well, it just reminded me of the previous version. I even like the songs that Stone Roses sampled as well such as below and of course the theme from Shaft

Most good songs nick stuff from others and of course the odd Bananarama steal;)

Actually produced by Future Cut so not to do with Wretch and EG really but it's going to be the sound of summer. UK Hip-Hop really is on the rise in my opinion. Though there are some absolute sh1t3 artists out there...

Not really my sort of music but to be fair to them they haven't exactly sh*tted all over the original which is an absolute classic and that would extremely easy to do. If anything they have put a modern twist on it and brought it up to date a bit, not that it needed to be mind, all Stone Roses songs are timeless. Still prefer the original obviously but I think certain people just like to complain.

Has anyone heard the new Arctic Monkeys album? It leaked a couple of days again and after a couple of listens I think it's brilliant, still waiting for their first bad album.

I've been telling people the same. I saw them supporting Kings Of Leon on Monday, and downloaded the album on Thursday. Excellant band.

Highly recommend their latest album 'Something To Die For' if you're into New Wave/Indie. My current favourite release of 2011.

I bought 'Mayhem' by Imelda May and 'Catching A Tiger' by Lissie for £3 each yesterday!
    Not bad at all.

Also purchased 'Cannibal Courtship' by Dengue Fever (not their best sadly but still pretty good) and a 2xCD Asha Bhosle 'Best Of...' and I've had a cracking last 24hrs music wise.

We all have a cross to bear. They are a delightful pair. And that song always makes me cheerful. :drinking:

Rather melancholic they don't write songs like this anymore:

The word swagger is seriously making me want to shoot someone.
And the only thing that rhymes with swagger is jagger.

    Shagger?
    Bagger?
    Nagger?
    Taggart?

What I meant was that Jagger is the only thing that people rhyme it with. Misinterpreted
