I'm going to Avebury to do a big walk around the Neolithic landscape, hopefully no phone reception.

Our last league visit to Old Trafford for a few years I reckon today is.

(Somebody bookmark this to show me how wrong I am).

Ronaldo’s been out of form hasn’t he? Can’t say I know for sure as I couldn’t care less. But I’ve noticed it on the back of papers etc. I’m sure we’ll help him out in his difficult time.

Good summary.... The only formation we are really right for is 451 which also doesn't work because the 2 wide players have to play so deep. Ideally pros should have the nouse to be able to switch from 451 to 433 as a game dictates but I get the impression these days that players can't or are not allowed to have that much on the pitch discretion...

    4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1 maybe?

Interesting stat - no goalkeeper has ever kept a clean sheet when Emmanuel Dennis has scored against them. Stay positive.

Going to be even more frustrating when we put in a mild half decent competitive performance...and still lose.

Well when we try to "park the bus" against the bigger sides we still lose. (*cough*)Man City 19/20(*cough*), but that was a totally rancid lineup that day with a defender (Forquiner?) who was given his debut against some of the best in the world. If we go full attack we will concede - but it would much better on the eye. We know Utd are going to come at us from minute one so it's going to be a game of containment as best we can. We have played pretty well at OT in the past, I think the season we finished 11th we only lost 2-1 and had them hanging on a bit at the end.

Least Kiko has his slight knock pre-match rather than during it.

Cleverley starts again and Kalu can't even get on the bench now lol.

Haha Kalu. Amazing, how Scott Duxbury just gets away with never having to answer for this type of **** is hilarious?

How has Sierrelta who was better than Troost-Ekong in The Championship now fallen behind not only him but Kabasele in the pecking order now too? It's laughable, does this happen at any other club with no response or explanation?

Start the same team that conceded 4 against Palace except for a weaker right back.

Let’s hope United aren’t in the mood.

You should dress up as a banana and get promised social media clout from the club at Old Trafford.

    This wouldn’t bother you then.

I was hoping that the global brand that is Man Utd would have more than half an eye on a forthcoming CL fixture, so would barely get out of 2nd gear and settle on beating us 0-2. Looks like that's not going to happen. A tedious, frustrating afternoon in store. Watford 0 Manchester United, just pick a number between 3 and 7.

I'm shocked Kiko is injured again, he's normally quite reliable. Glad Roy has stuck with the same team as it was a strong performance on Wednesday, we were just a bit unlucky conceding those 4 goals.

I do like Ngakia, but he should never be a PL starter. For me he fits the mold of Sema. Bring him on in the last five/ten minutes when we have at least a two goal cushion.

Just an injury forced change, what is wrong with Kiko? Love a win u never know a point would be good, but if we lose by just a narrow margin I won't be happy, but hey ho it won't be a disaster.

Kiko has to be one of the most fragile players we have ever had. It's like he is made of glass, he is a decent player on his day - and losing his link-up with Sarr (which, admittedly hasn't been great as of late) is a blow. However, I cannot see us keeping them out for 90+ even with him fully fit.

It's a relief Sancho is on the bench for Utd as he'll have had a field day against Ngakia on his current form. They should still win comfortably mind.

Cleverley has been terrible in the last few games and I'd have thought Kayembe should be a marginal, if not significant, improvement on him.

Other than that, considering our lack of options the team is pretty obvious.

Watching Leeds and we honestly only had to be semi-decent to be in a closer battle so far this season. They are so **** yet still 5 points clear.

No idea, we have a very odd selective team news communication. "Hey Watford fans, here's a picture of Etebo ready to be fit in 3 months' time but we won't tell you where our best CB from last season is"
