Just thought all 3 had cracking games tonight. Bouazza again looked good, and keen to run at people. Thought a well earn't point.
    well done lads..

they need to play with the same fight and spirit for the rest of the season, if they continue to play that way , plus someone who can hit the back of the net, we can turn things around

For me MOTM was Lee or Shittu.
Lee had some fine saves tonights and just proves what a fantastic keeper he has become.
Shittu was into everything... saved us a few blushes i think.
I loved the way that he showed Joey Barton the right way to be the bad boy and left him with "the mark of the Shittu" on his neck!! lol
Smith I felt also had a great turn of pace down the right and was instrumental in a lot of the first half, Bouazza was as we expect him menacing on the left.
Fantastic game and the point was the very least we deserved.
Just confirmed on Sky that Shittu was indeed voted MOTM

Shittu was great today. I definately prefer him at the back to Malky

Everyone played well but in particular Lee/Mahon - as said in another post the Barton save was world class.

Mahon gave everything, a true captains performance.
Can't wait till Saturday, we're gonna stuff Reading.

    3-1 to the Golden Boys!!

I bet the sun still put lee as a 6 or 7 tops , he was an 8 for me , with shittu a 9 , but guess he will only be an 8 in the sun.

Gonna burn the newsagents down in the morning if the sun dont make shittu MOTM;)

Ive had 5 or 6 but i still got it right!! Shittu got it.. and rightly so in my book.
Mahon had a great game but for my money Shittu was outstanding!

Agree, but did you think that Dan had a tendency to sort of switch off now and then.

he was immense, dont get me wrong, but sometimes he just seemed to go somewhere else.

Gav, Rich and Hameur very very good games.

I know you were... but spellnig?? ;) lol

I dont know... there were the odd occassion i suppose.. but when you weigh that against the amount of times he cleared it from the back and that fantastic header in the dying seconds of the first half.. how could you pick anyone but him for the MOTM?

NO not at all. Danny should never have been dropped. Compare his performance tonight with Malky's last tuesday.

But he does switch of i think.

And on another point, Jay has got to learn to deal with premiership forwards fast. if he touches them they go down, so don't touch them.

Given the Kanu incident and the sounds of today's Corradi incident, I hope he learns fast!

I think Smith let himself down tonight... hes good enough but doesnt appear to want it enough... and yet again, Hendo was anonymous!

Shittu and Lee were outstanding though... Bouazza looked very lively.

Chambers unfortunately for the lad appeared out of his depth with Stewart not a great deal better!

A good point earned but we should have bloody snatched that one!

Says it all when the manager cant bring anything off the bench and Chambers gets booked for time wasting right at the end!!

For all the effort, it appears thats all we've got till January!

I thought that the whole team put in 120% For me Mahon Shittu and Lee were particularly good. Mahon gets my man of the match for a good command of the field and good cover at the back when the defence occasionally pushed forward.

I think Ash did OK but plays better on the wing. We need a front man with pace. Time and time again Ash or Boozer were up there for the cross with Hendo puffing his way up there 2 or 3 secs late. I think Hendo has a role to play for us but off the front man rather then the target man.

On the whole the result was OK although the tricky decisions were correctly given we could have lost out if this wasn't the case.

3 points at the weekend is required me thinks.

Hendo isn't a lone ranger type of player though! To criticise him for not playing well in a role to which he isn't suited is a bit harsh I feel. The fact is tonight he charged down Nicky Weaver at every opportunity and generally put himself about. That's good enough for me until Aidy decides to give him a worthwhile parner up there.
