Would be pretty decent, I suppose.
How much do you think he's worth?

True, but Bouazza might be out longer then expected.

We need a solid striker, one like Marlon King or someone a little better..Gonna be hard to find.
Marlon King won't be the same player when he gets back from his injury.
An injury basically kills a players career.

Hendrie is the sort of player we should have signed in August, a player with some real prem experience and who is hungry to play.

Was very popular up at stoke, they have faded since he left. If we did sign Hendrie surely that would mean Spring is defo on his way out? We don't need more than 2 attacking central midfielders in the squad.

I think Spring is on his way anyhow. He now has Al Bangura AND Francis ahead of him in the pecking order.

To be honest we could let Springy AND Francis go and bring in Lee Hendrie and a youngster for backup.

Also, bringing in class in the forward line up will free Ash to play on the wing again. I think this is why we did not pursue Carlos Edwards. Aidy has seen we now have Smith and Ash on the right, and Hameur and Macca on the left. The only reason for pursuing wingers last window was because we couldn't get forwards good enough and because Aidy did not know if Hameur and Macca could bridge the gap. He now knows they can do the job in the PrL and therefore we don't need wingers.

Agreed. We just need someone to put the b*stard ball in the onion bag. Easier said than done though.

We could also do with a good central midfielder.

Not because Bangura and Mahon aren't good enough but because if one of those is suspended/injured our back up, Francis and Spring, aren't Premiership quality.
