    Stoke paid a 7 million loan fee for him a couple of seasons back, as did Everton last season. Can’t see us doing that.

    According to the guy at Esso this was done purely to wind up Everton Fans ......though i believe Leventhal will shortly be tweeting to say that this is progressing and will reach a conclusion one way or another later this week.

    I’m hearing this wasn’t a wind up , but more of a verbal practical joke to anger and irritate Everton fans who might not realise it’s a joke .
