JD has just retired as a player and on Sky Sports yesterday Harry Redknapp suggested that a top team should offer him a job as a "Striker Coach" as HR believes JD would be fantastic fit for such a job. Harry also added that when Harry Kane was a youngster JD was a kind of mentor for HK and that he had a big influence on HK's early development as a striker. There is no doubt that we could do with someone to develop our strikers so maybe we should be the team to offer him that job?
He'd probably want to work with a manager/team who are going to be at that club for more than a few weeks though. And strikers...
Greedy bugger and played for Spurs but what a player he was in his day. Head down and smash the ball as low and hard as possible, proper finisher. Seems like a decent bloke too. Wasn’t he one of the first Prem players to adopt a vegan diet?
