    Quique mark II.

Yes he's been given a terrible squad, but it's easier to sack him than change the toxic culture at the top of the club. He'll be gone by Christmas.

I wish we had that guy with the biker jacket. He looked the nuts.

    Clearly not.

Personally I hated Ivic before I'd ever heard of him.

I waited for him to suck all the joy and hope out of the game for me over 8 games before I pulled the mental trigger.

C'mon Moog. Bit harsh comparing him to the most horribly defensive coach we have ever had. :p I would rather we actually try to score a goal and create chances than park the bus every game and play like Burnley week in week out.

Terribly negative coach. One convincing performance in 9 games. He’s got to go before too much damage is done to our promotion/ playoff chances.

Absolutely has to win the next two matches. Hell, even a shot would be nice.

Unfortunately he talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. That or his players aren't listening/trying.

Simply put. Bad performances + good results was acceptable. Bad performances and bad results is unacceptable. Bad performances+ bad results+ not having an attacking threat is beyond the pale. No excuses whatsoever.

I disagree that this a terrible squad for the championship. In fact I think the squad on paper is an amazing one. For some reason though they can’t seem to play to demonstrate that on the pitch...who knows whether that’s the manager, the formation or some toxicity that’s filtered through the team

Appallingly bad in the last two matches. Lack of action in making changes. Still sticking to a formation that does not suit us although part of the blame lies with the hierarchy. Losing five points in what should be eminently winnable games to relegation contenders means promotion is a long shot and we look more of a relegation case. Because we are playing poorly. Not creating chances, not dominating games, not showing energy or aggression to bully sides we should. The sole improvements from the Wycombe game were the passing and tempo. But we should not have to even ask questions about why such basics were lacking in the first place.

Are some of the players responsible ? Of course they are but the formation and tactics do not suit the strengths of our two main weapons at the moment so the fault lies with the manager. We are not creating any quality chances for either or creating the space they need partly because teams sit so deep so why Ivic has not thought of the necessary tactics to exploit that or coach the team to overcome the high press is beyond me. The complete predictability especially in attacking down one flank only is hardly helping either.

Constantly playing a system that clearly doesn’t work for the players you have in your squad is only one persons fault. Nice bloke, good football morals but needs to change something or he’s out

I really wanted Ivic. Watching his MTA team was exactly what I thought we'd be like with him and the players we have and were going to get to support him. Sadly, the club haven't backed him with the signings that his style of play requires and we're stuck playing a god awful formation that is alien to the coach and in which players seem to play anywhere in a blind panic.

That being said, any coach has to have a way of winning games and it's looking more and more like he doesn't with what he has. The people in charge won't look at themselves so he'll be gone before long.

    Completely agree.

Most of our players would improve the vast majority of teams in this league. The problem could be their attitude/lack of confidence, or a tactical one. It certainly isn't the ability of our players!

Dear God do we have to have another change?
I'm rapidly losing faith in the whole governance of our club.

How many points can we afford to drop? That's the question. We are going to have the same lack of left-back issue until at least January, possibly all season. It's clear the system needs changing. Will Ivic change it? I think it's a matter of when he goes, not if.

"Some of our players started this game without confidence and it's created some mistakes" - Ivic.

Sigh. A familiar story from a coach. I wish one would have the balls to say it how it is. But that's probably why Pearson was binned off.

Oh I accept that he's likely to get the boot but frankly what's the point if Gino is going to appoint another poor sod with this bunch of feckless ninnies?
What is wrong with the core of our club?

Indeed. I can see that Ivic is flawed and his system is dire, but after the amount of coaches we have had, it's obvious that we have far deeper problems that won't be solved anytime soon.

Can definitely see Ivic getting the chop if things don't change quickly, because promotion could be slipping away even at this early stage. Thing is though, all of these things that people moan at Ivic for, sacking him isn't going to just magically solve everything, is it? Far, far more blame goes down to the owners for ******* around the last year/18 months
