According to mouthpiece Brian Marwood, football admin for Man City.

So Brian, what you're saying is an international competition in a different continent should change because your club bought African players?

And please stop using the word 'product'. It makes you sound like a ****.

Typical big club mentality. They only want to concentrate on what makes them money and the rest of football is unnecessary. They would be happy if the only football that existed was some sort of European super league.

    I have a fantastic Idea.

If you know you are going to lose players for massive parts of the season because they will be playing international football in a different continent. Do not buy them.

    Problem solved

Who really cares to be honest. The big teams will always moan and cry about things like that even though they know the competition is played every 2 years. Im in total agreement with gazz if your that bothered dont buy those players you know will be involved.

Man City should be able to cope without a couple of key players for a month with the squad and millions they have.
