My favourite one is the premeditated opinions of a player they’ve rarely, if ever not seen before — came to a conclusion, then made a definitive opinion on said player after 45 minutes of league action under the worst coach in the Prem. Players need time, took Doucoure until what December to get into the team? Louza is a good player, the issue is the fee/agent, which isn’t down to him, blame should be solely at the door of Gino and co
However Doucoure, unlike Louza, actually looked decent in his early season cameos and I along with quite a few others on here were puzzled as to why he wasn't being given more playing time.
I'm not quite sure who or what you're trying to get at here exactly, but I for one have been very consistent in pointing out that this signing appeared to be a mistake by the Pozzos.
What cameos were they? He played 120 minutes against Gillingham and that’s it before starting against Spurs
Play him tomorrow. United's midfield is poo and if Gosling starts a Premier League match in 2021 then the club deserves to be liquidated before kick off.
I particularly like the bit where the guy from the Wobby helpfully puts in ‘Nordin’ after Ranieri mentions Amrabat. Apart from the fact it was indeed not Nordin Amrabat but his brother. Quite how the reporter thinks Nordin Amrabat is a holding midfielder?!
Should be the first name on the team sheet. Could be the new Derek Payne but just hasn’t been given the game time
Should also point out that this further context/quotes courtesy of the Wobby from what Ranieri actually said make what the club posted initially on the official site look insane, and totally misrepresentative of what he was actually saying. It's inexplicably inaccurate/misleading.
He has looked hopeless in both games I've seen him play this season. Hopefully there is a plan to get him some more game time away from the first team in an attempt to get him up to speed.
Bear in mind that all three appearances he has made this season were under the instruction of a bloke they nabbed for the role after his car coincidentally broke down just outside the entrance to London Colney, and add, to boot, that the only 90 minutes he has played was in a cup win against a fellow Premier League side, and I'm not sure it's quite as clear cut as all that, to be honest.
Reminded me a bit of Chalobah when he was coming back from injury at times, just a little bit feeble and too slow on the ball. He’ll get used to the pace of the game, which is all it comes down to.
Just reiterate what I said earlier in the thread. Ranieri with an expert use of the media to get a player ready for the league. Little curve ball from him as well saying he's months off playing as a deep lying midfielder. One good game doesn't make him amazing, just as one bad game doesn't make him ****, but he's certainly got quality that was probably worth a £10m gamble
He definitely seemed sharper and had some good quality on the ball I'll accept, but hold your horses - it was only against Ole's Man Utd. Cleverly was even better today in midfield for instance, yet we also know that usually he's not a player we want to be relying on most weeks in the PL.
Impressive display. Along with many others. When we're in sync with one another we're a match for the majority in this league. Just need a run of consistency now.
