They say defence wins championships (maybe just in the NFL) and we seem to be alright in that department, we just cannot score at all!
Fantastic result I thought. Man City have been on form lately and started with a very attacking formation, in the first half we were the dominant side and could have gone in ahead. Second half created less chances, but we showed so much determination to hang on, and looked quite solid. Neither the handball or Jay’s tackle were pens, though my first impression was otherwise. Jay got the ball (then a little tug of the shorts) and the player went over, correct decision, would have been harsh and besides its about time some decisions went our way. Those last 30 minutes though…unbearable, unfortunately I think we are going to suffer more of the same throughout the season!
