Couldn't spot @Forestieri11 at the Vic on sat amongst injured & non squad players. Leaving? Hope not. @WDSport_ any info?

Some wonderfully in depth insights. Surprised they didn't claim he stormed by them on Saturday refusing to talk.

Sadly, I agree. Comprehensive proof he's off!

In our current formation I can't understand why we wouldn't use Forestieri. He would have been perfect against West Brom, we were crying out for somebody to run at the CBs and push into the penalty box.

I know that is why we have signed Diamanti and Jurado, but Jurado doesn't seem to want to charge at people the way Forestieri does.

I think it is a waste if he leaves now, but it seems inevitable.

I am of the same mind as you. The only reason I can think of right now is that perhaps Quique for whatever reason doesn't like Fessi's attitude. I'm not suggesting Fessi has a poor one, I'm just throwing it out there.

I agree the game was crying out for him on Saturday- feel he is more useful in the 4-2-3-1 squad than Vydra is for example (not that I don't like Vydra of course). Hope if he does go it's loan rather than permanent. I'm struggling to see how Vydra gets much game time this season.

A loan would do him good, although I agree he would have been a better sub than Berghuis, who has openly stated he will struggle against physical teams.

He's clearly off, why are people surprised? I don't want him to but he barely played in pre-season once the new players came in and hasn't been in the squad in either of the two games so far this season. Add to that Diamanti signing now and the imminent arrival of a winger then it's bye bye Fernando unfortunately. Hopefully on loan but at 25 can he go on loan and improve enough to force his way back into the squad when we're signing players of the calibre of Jurado and Diamanti already?

I've not been his greatest fan but on Saturday we were crying out for someone to take a chance and run at their defence. Seems odd that QSF hasn't given him a look in. Perhaps he wasn't impressed with what he saw in training ?

Unfortunately I totally agree with H23 on this. It looks incredibly likely he's off. I would love for him to get a loan at a Championship club, but who knows what will happen to him. I fully believe he has the ability to get into a 25 man squad in the Prem, but his consistency is lacking and that must be why QSF isn't giving him a go.

As much as I want to see what Berghuis can do, FF (or indeed Vydra) would have been a far better player to bring on with 9 or 10 minutes left on Saturday.

With Diamante in and assuming no more non HG signings there is one place left between Fessi, Pudil and Parades according to my calculations

If we had taken one of the two half chances that fell to Jurado and Igloo in the first half there would have been a very different type of second half. Of course it's all about ifs, buts and maybes however over the two games so far we are creating chances and scoring so if QSF sees enough quality in the 18 man squads picked for those matches with a new attacking midfielder in Diamante then we probably do need to move him on after 3 years at the club and still not holding down an automatic place

Out of the three, Parades has to be the one to keep.

Agreed, assuming of course we don't sign anyone else. If one more foreign player come in all 3 could be out the door.

The bloke from Chelsea finished off Pudil's chances. Not needed for cover any longer. It may come down to injuries. If one of the Attackerspicks up a knock, that favours Fessi. Someone at the back - Paredes.

Paredes is more versatile therefore has more of a chance as a squad player.

This is the premiership and we can have no sentiment for a player that could be outrageously brilliant one week and then lost and missing for the next three. We need players that are going to be consistent week in week out.

On his day brilliant, but gives the ball away far too much and is a luxary we just can't afford this year

Bloody hell their jokes are worse than on here and that thread has pretty much no comment about the actual possibility of him joining them. We are a bunch of amateurs on here by comparison.

Vydra, Gueds, Pudil, Fessi, Battocchio, Bond and possibly Angella.

    All very sad.
