Around one in the afternoon yesterday on Calle 67 between 118 and 120 in barrio Pocito Palmar, Marianao, a citizen violently snatched two mobile phones on public roads. During the event, the population tried to capture him and called the police through the 106 emergency service. Patrol car 774-E immediately attended the scene. Officers had to climb roofs and dodge stones thrown by the criminal in his failed attempt to escape. The police did not want to arrest the detainee later in his own house, because the population wanted to lynch him. They managed to lead him to the patrol car with some difficulty. Don't have nightmares. Keep 'em peeled!
How many of our overweight, scruffy plod in their ridiculous and ill-fitting 'multi-pocketed action trousers' would pursue a robber over roof-tops?
Depends if they've got enough risk assessment forms in their combat trouser pockets to fill out in triplicate.
The National Revolutionary Police are always at the service of the people. Here we see a so-called 'self employed' criminal in Santiago de Cuba caught flagrantly and shamelessly selling over-priced pork. 6 months behind bars for his 'economic crime'. I wish this would happen to more of these high price exploiters here in the UK. Especially those electric and gas bandits. Put your prices up to exploit the population? Get led away in handcuffs! Absolutely right.
