Favourite TV Series

I think it's a very good acting, a bit cheesy with poor acting but always entertaining.

 

Just seen the final episode of Sherlock. Fantastic. Very commendable writing. Deserves awards.

 

Just started watching Luther. Very good so far!

Glad that Detective Dramas are back in good form

 

Cheers is great, Norm is great. The spin off Frazier , is great to, and of course Seinfeld.

mmm : Does that make sense.

 

Impractical Jokers is brilliant. Youtube it if you've not seen it before.

 

Watched New Girl the other day. Not LOL funny, but that girl would sooooo get it.

 

Same girl I posted first in my celebrity thread, Zooey Deschanel. She is incredible.

What were your favourite bits?

I loved the petition one with "That ***** Irene", and the speed dating one where his tooth fell out.

 

I loved the buffet, and when Joe undresses whilst massaging - I think I must've missed one episode out as i've not seen any speed dating - which episode is that?

 

3 with the tarot reading, and the megaphone.

Murr is clearly the best though.

 

That scene when he's matching his potential room mates excitement had me in tears.

 

When he was jumping on the sofa with that guy, i was crying with laughter.

And the bit where he was selling the car and the guy got in the boot was legendary.

 

Get a room guys.

 

Just watched the pilots for 'Alcatraz' and 'Touch'. Alcatraz was decent but Touch looks like it could be excellent based on the first episode.

 

Just working my way through every episode of Dads Army. Pure genius every episode.

Anyone else think scrubs and two and a half men are sh*te?

 

Big fan of Scrubs but never liked Two and a half men really, it's pretty ****e.

 

Yeah i don't understand the hype? People only started watching it after Charlie sheen went crazy so thats probably why.
I've only ever watched the later series of scrubs to be fair which everyone says aren't as good.

 

I'm the complete opposite. Big two and a half men fan, but far more when Charlie Sheen was in it. Now it's not as good. Cannot stand Scrubs though, argh!!

 

Just googled both and I see that Touch has Kiefer Sutherland as a main character. Need to watch this, I was a big 24 fan.

Curb your enthusiasm is a fantastic comedy as well, quite underrated IMO.

Anyone else a fan of the Walking Dead? Cracking stuff, but was wearing a little thin in the 2nd season. Can't wait for the next episode though!

 

How is curb underrated? It's basically rated as highly as possible by everyone.

I say underrated because a lot of my mates at uni don't know it, or what it's about.

 

Its a very unseen sort of comedy. If more people saw it, theyd love it.

The first 6 series are good. The latter aren't.

 

Don't know if anyone has mentioned modern family, but in my opinion it is by far the best TV show around atm. Think for me it's my favourite show ever, even beating friends!

 

I only recently finished all of 24 and am a huge fan as well, so Kiefer Sutherland was the main thing that interested me in 'Touch' too and he looks to be perfect for the role. Even ignoring Kiefer Sutherland's part the first episode was excellent though.

Loved the first season of The Walking Dead but I don't think the second has been quite as strong so far. The mid-season finale was very good though.
