    You're overpaying.

I will send you my naked photos (super sexy) for just £3500. A fraction of what you were paying.

    Absolute discretion of course.

    PM me. ;-)

I remember the days when The Sun would pay good money for naked pictures of 17 year olds.

Why arent the Police investigating this? Why did the family run to the press and not to the Police?

Would it be classed as making and possessing indecent images seeing as she was under 18?

Pretty sure I read somewhere it is a he not she. Either way really hope it’s Gary lineker

Hmm looks like it would be to be fair. One of the few sexual offences that defines a child as under 18 rather than 16.

Interesting you've presumed it's a she. I've taken it be a he given the tone of the reporting, though I suppose that's a presumption on my part.

If it was a she then why would Rylan be telling the world it wasn't him. Saw on BBC, (ironically), that it was a he.

I’m very confused by the assumption of the he or she.
The BBC have already informed us and our children that there are over 100 genders.
I’ll wait for the BBC to fact check, clarify and inform us of the correct nomenclature.

    Good old reliable auntie beeb..

Any excuse for the like of Patel and company to take a swing at the BBC. The response is not derisory. They've taken action and forwarded information to the police. But let's not let facts get in the way of an agenda. No doubt they would like everyone to watch the very balanced GB News.

I cannot stand the Daily Mail. It's just a personal thing and some others may really enjoy it. I think it's a paper that will take a story and then run with it until the printer ink runs dry, then refill it and hash it out again. To be fair the Express is pretty good. Sun and Star are just banter papers for the young ones. Mirror used to be good before they lost their edge.

The attack on the BBC is an attempt to remove an important pillar of our society.

With no independently accountable news source, everyone can get their news from within their own echo Chambers.

I respect your opinion, but I don’t agree re The Express. For me, The Express and The Daily Mail are as bad as one another. Both hang on and exacerbate the fears and prejudices of NIMBY middle Englanders. The only difference is that The Express is also obsessed with the Royal Family and the weather.

That would depend on how "Good" it was then Moog. ;) I still find it a mature paper with a lot of good and well written articles.

Although apparently, according to the child’s mother, the BBC took no action in May (or June) after she reported it to them in May.
    Interesting.
The BBC supply a good ‘impartial’ news service with a good worldwide reputation.
But apparently the wheels were only set in motion after the mother, apparently in frustration, went to the press.

BBC has previous in covering up what they know are serious scandals, although it’s to be proven, in the scheme of things, that this is a serious scandal.

What the Beeb are doing atm is stoking up a huge hornets nest of unwanted publicity when it could probably have been handled a lot better to minimise the fallout.

Hear, hear. 20 years ago failed has-beens like the smirking Patel would not be able to spout their nonsense once they were out of a public position, but now they can continue on Twitter and the like stoking up their fan base, which only increases division and hatred.

I think it's a close run thing between the Fail and the Getsworse.

I think the Getsworse just edges it if only for their almost weekly winter headline of ' Britain set to be paralysed by Arctic blast'.

    Set your clock by it.

    Hapless.

While there is a potential disciplinary matter, it’s one initially for the Police, if it is alleged a crime is committed. The BBC has to be careful not to undermine any investigation by the Police. This often causes delay (and frustration) when allegations are made to an employer or other disciplinary body.

If both the Police and BBC cannot get the alleged victim to provide evidence, it may not be an allegation that can be proved. Nevertheless, the BBC can then ask about the nature of the relationship and take action if they feel the presenter has behaved badly or inappropriately.

Some are taking the opportunity to have open season on the BBC and certain presenters, notably gay or left wing ones. But then they would. The BBC isn’t popular with culture warriors and homophobes.

Before social media we did not have this trial by idiocy. Let the relevant bodies and alleged accused and victim speak their piece to the investigators. On the basis of which a criminal case can be made. All this speculation is not helpful to anyone and includes the opportunity of slandering people for no reason other than they look apparently weird or shifty or it's a chance to get a cheap shot in. Something I've never understood since some of the nastiest serial killers in history have been some of the politest charmers out there who had what appeared on the surface ordinary respectable lives.

One only needs to remember the case of Christopher Jeffries where he was hounded and the tabloid press including The Sun launched something akin to a witch hunt putting two and two together.
