None of what is going on has to be happening and is only happening because the elite want it too. We are just monkeys and apes to them. Hoping the new elite coming through want to change things but not holding my breath at all. Good luck to you all, stop fighting each other though.
Absolutely. Divide and rule has always been their biggest weapon. Encouraging people to be partisan, or hate the other side is all a part of this.
I used to believe in all that but not too sure anymore. Struggling to see the point in all the BS though apart from trying to get an emotional response out of people. What is the plan here?
I reject conspiracy theories. They are completely unnecessary in understanding the World. The dominant defining factor of how the World works is who has capital or can use its power and who does not. Within the class that do, there are lots of competing interests, corporations vs each other and vs Government, powerful individuals competing against those and each other. Within those groups there are plenty of reasonable and plenty of unpleasant people, but that isn’t really the point. They control where capital goes, how much is shared and they use their influence to shape opinion. Often that goes against collective interest, for example to continue to consume more and more while the planet burns, rather than to share. Against that power there is the rest of us, working and middle classes. Without doubt, we can win and make the bosses share, but there are lots of divisions amongst us and exacerbating those is now an industry for both our own elite and our enemies. But, if we want anything to change, we have to back the opposition to wealth, in the form of political parties, unions and pressure groups. So we need, above all, unity.
