    Probably go there and do well for a while before Everton start to slip and he leaves in 18 months or so as seems to be the way with the managers at Everton.

    Risky one - some of the fans won’t accept him. And I’ve always wondered about his desire to actually be successful ever since he disappeared off to China.

    Steve Bruce showed it’s possible to keep Newcastle up relatively comfortably last season so that dispels the myth that Benitez performed miracles.

    I’m just not convinced he’s the top manager many credit him to be anymore. Decent sure…but aren’t Everton always bleating on about wanting to be better than that?

    Nothing unexpected then from an absolute sh*tstain of a club. In 2007 Benitez called Everton a small club. How can they be so stupid? How can Benitez be so stupid? It'll end in tears, my best prediction for next season.
