Fine - the following comment appears on a Fulham web site - comments do not necessarily mirror my own thoughts as I don`t know enough about the player - but another fan said he wouldn`t pay him £5k per week net alone £20k.;D "Collins John is a lazy, arrogant, offside, selfish, moaning, lump of ****. He may know how to finish but you need more than that in the Prem. Good riddance if we manage to flog him. The £3.25m that was mentioned is too good to miss out on".
I also have a Fulham supporting mate who simply described him as "5hite" Personally I'm glad he turned us down, let him rot in Fulhams stiffs and reflect on what he could have been doing.
I didnt know there were this many Fulham fans let alone this many Fulham fans with opinions. Hes obviously not coming i cant remeber the last time a player took this long to make his mind up and did actually sign.
No point in wasting our time over somebody we do not to pay 20k or probably sees as as a doomed club already.
But he hasn't signed, he isn't going to sign so sod him! if he was so bloody good why isn't he starting for Fulham week in week out, simply because he is not as good as he thinks he is.
I'd have thought given our team and what they achieved last year if any set of fans was beyond the 'he's not good enough for them, so he's not good enough for us' mentality it should be our lot!
I didn't say he's not good enough for us I said he's not as good as he thinks he is, an opinion that appears to be backed up by the lack of offers from other clubs even though they know he is surplus to requirement at Fulham, and that bids will be accepted. I see him as another big time Charlie prepared to sit in Fulhams eserves taking 20k a week rather than roll his sleeves up and accept a challenge with practically guarenteed 1st team football with us. Asley is refusing to move out of (I assume) love of and loyalty to Watford. John is refusing to move because he seems scared of hard work and the chance he may be shown up as an over rated under acchiever.
