Its real-there are too many independent third parties (the auditors, the lenders, companies house, the law firms working for the lenders and the Premier league/EFL who have to see the accounts for FFP reasons) for it to be anything other than legit that we owe this money (as at 30/6/21).

The big difference with companies ultimately owned by entities registered in overseas locations (Luxembourg is where Gino's companies that own our club are registered) is that you will never get the overall picture. You are also dealing with information that is nearly a year out of date so when we see the accounts for the year just about to end it will be next April!

I laughed at the thought Bachmann was on 3250 wages, then realised thats over 150k a year. When he was a young reserve keeper twiddling his thumbs. And hes now likely to be on 5 - 10x that. And I am concerned about next winters heating bill.

Before the start of last season Frankie boy Giarretta claimed we didnt need to spend money on defenders and compared our situation to Spurs in order to justify his claim. So how did that comparison work out? Spurs finished 4th, qualified for the CL and conceded 40 goals, we finished 19th, conceded 77 and got relegated. Im really struggling to see a comparison here.

I wonder what the man who thought we could stay up with a back 5 of Bachmann Femenia Troost Sierralta and Rose has in store for us next season?

Will he be pointing to the fact that Bury havent conceded a league goal for over 2 years as evidence that we dont need any players at all next season?? The mind boggles...

The bigger issue is Mogi whispering sweet things into Gino’s, Duxbury’s and Giaretta’s ears. Absolute cancer to Watford FC and ties need to be cut immediately. Only have to look at all the top talent around the English lower leagues and how we would easily challenge for promotion by signing a few of them. But no, not us, we have to only talk to players that Mogi recommends, players he just happens to be the agent for, or has some connection where he still takes a cut.

    Comparing us to Spurs?

    When..

Did he think King and Dennis would be like Son and Kane bailing the defence out?

That’s a very decent signing for Bristol City. Quite envious of that one

Imagine if their player of the season came to us. There would be riots in L*ton (well, even more than usual).

He did an interview at the beginning of last season saying you dont need to spend money to have a good defence and used Spurs as an example to support his claim

Im surprised no one is trying to explain WHY an agent who has been charged with serious money laundering offences has become more involved with the club and received more money from WFC since being charged. The only explanations I can think of (and this is pure speculation) are:
    a) To use his services as much as possible before a possible custodial sentance.
b)To shower him with millions of pounds to make sure he doesnt reveal anything 'innapropriate' to the authorities.
If anyone has any other explanations Id love to hear them cos I cant think of any.

Would that be the same Luxembourg that the EU is taking to the ECJ for failing to fully implement EU anti money laundering rules?

In all the pre-season predictions for the Championship top six people go for the three relegated teams and the three that missed out in the play-offs the previous year. Despite all the historic evidence, no-one expects a relegated team to under perform like West Brom or another to emerge from lower down, like Huddersfield.

I might be wrong but didn't Southampton drop from the PL to League One in the space of two seasons?

No, they spent 4 seasons in the Championship before being relegated, 2 in League 1 and then just 1 in the Championship before getting back to the Prem. On the face of it, even though Southampton are a big club for the Championship/League 1, that seems like something of a miracle, was there something to it, did they get taken over around that time?

Again, Norwich never got relegated 2 years in succession, they had almost exactly the same trajectory as Southampton after being relegated from the Prem together in 2005, except they only had the one season in League 1 before then getting promoted back to the Prem the next season (they didn't have a points deduction like Southampton did in that League 1 season iirc!)

Will be interesting to see if Forest want to keep Zinckernagle after today. We are in that much of a mess, I genuinely think he will be important for us next season.

Well he was decent for us as a bit part player last season, he's been good (17 goal involvements) for the 4th placed team this season, so it's hardly a damning indictment of us if he's a key player for us next season!

Huddersfield will have to come out and play now.

Good pressure from Yates on the defender .

It is a damning indictment on us for sending him out on loan and replacing him with Tufat and Grandad Kucka

Agreed, I don't think he's any better than a good Championship player, but he sure as hell could have produced more than those two!
