I was the bloke with the yellow army scarf that had shouted himself hoarse by half time and was all squeaky after that.

I had'nt got my voice back 3 days later when I went to a job interview. Needless to say I didn't get the job.

By the way we look nothing like each other, I've managed to keep my hair and my looks don't scare young children.

Looks like you were a good few rows back from us. Thought we had a decent view but paid top price for the tickets.

I had to fly back to Budapest the next day for work.

The flight out was 6.40am take off and had to be at the airport for 4.40am.

Lets just say I didn't sleep and was absolutly knackered but very happy

We had return tickets from Paddington to Cardiff. Seats booked on the way there and any train on the way back. Well ,after the match we decided to hit the pubs to celebrate rather than go join the queue for the train. The 4 of us did a pub crawl and by 9.30 we were fairly "happy", (must say the Leeds people we met were a credit to the supporters). Decided to get the last train home so wandered off to the station only to be told the last train to London had left 30 minutes ago  We were stuck in Cardiff with no option but to either get a cab back to London or book a hotel and stay the night. The hotel wasn't an option due to work commitments so we hired a black cab from the rank outside the station and got it all the way back to Harrow.

How much do you think a black cab charged us from Cardiff to Harrow?

I would say a couple of hundred?

£160. £40 each. One of the chaps has the gift of the gab and talked the price down from £250 to £160. Bargain of the century as far as I was concerned. Went to sleep in Cardiff, woke up in Harrow £40 lighter

Whilst we were working out what to do at Cardiff station, we were chatting to the police there. They told us that the week before for the FA Cup Final there were over 200 West Ham fans stranded after missing the last train home, exactly like us.

Also on the platform was a Watford fan totally out of it asleep on a bench. I always wondered what happened to him?

Last thing to try. Go to www.tinypic.com, and use the upload button to upload the whole picture to them. They'll resize it automatically and give you a link. Post the link here and if it's still too big we can at least get hold of the pic. Try it, if it doesn't work then we'll give up!
