No you're not. An argument isn't simply the automatic gainsaying of an alternative position. Yes it is.
We win a home game, we lose an away game. We have 3 points. We won't be the first or last to have that as a start of a season. We have allowed 5 shots on target over the two games, that is one every 36 minutes., 4 goals. We had a bad day at the office. 36 matches to go and 108 points to play for. Calm down.
Not only have we not invested in our back line after promotion (bar Rose), but the one defender we had in our brilliant second half of last season who most of us felt had a fighting chance of looking Prem quality has inexplicably sat on the bench for the last two matches. This is a tough league. We all knew that at the start. Wins will be tougher to find and defeats will come along far far more regularly than in the joyous run we had to promotion. We know that. But for goodness sakes let’s not make it even harder for ourselves than it needs be. Don’t approach the start of matches like we did tonight. Don’t play into our opponents hands. Don’t make stupid schoolboy errors. Play your best eleven, ideally in each of their best positions. Learn fast. We all know days out at the Etihad and the Bridge and Anfield etc are going to end badly, but today felt like an away match in which we might have had a shout of getting something. The last time we were in this league the only matches we won away were against the two other sides who ended up going down with us. We must do better than that this time.
I missed the last 5 minutes of the game as a bouncer was explaining to Mrs Mazz why he dragged a kid out by his throat. Apparently he models himself on Patrick Swayze in Road House. Good times.
He does have an eye for a good pass. You right, it was my concern as well. Will the game in England be too quick and too physical for him? It is not the leisurely pace of the Championnat He has talent for sure but is this league the right level for him. Does he have the intelligence to realise this and work on his game? Only time will tell.

How many of us were at the game today? From the style of the posts I'd guess most weren't. Which would be a bit sad. An armchair commentariat giving it large. I was b.t.w. Still am! Just interested is all.
What would be sad about that, exactly? It was televised live. I was working today - I watched it on tv. I don't see how that has any bearing on whether or not you're able to comment on the game, that you watched in its entirety?
A bit unfair, apart from Gray, Success and Deeney (jury is still out on Gosling either way as he's only made six league starts for us) they'd be pretty useful for a midtable Championship side at least.
Anyway, my take on the match: Appalling first half. Absolutely no bite in midfield whatsoever. In direct contrast to last weekend. The missing link? Kucka. An absolute beast against the Villa. No wild animals on display for us today though unfortunately. Their second goal was criminal. But if you always insist on knocking it around at the back in all circumstances then you'll get your comeuppance eventually. Unfortunately we got ours in Game2. The second half was much better. Another goal could have gone in at either end. If it had gone in for us we might have chased it. Dennis being offside was also criminal. I'll nip into Poundland on Monday and buy him a protactor and stick it in the post for him. B.t.w., my matchday experience was further compromised by the numpty next to me insisting that we simply hoof the ball as far as possible in the general direction of their goal as soon as we got it. Such was his knowledge of football. Sad really. Wasn't one of you lot was it?
You miss my point. Of course you're perfectly entitled and qualified to comment. I just find it sad that so few on here are actually 'travelling 'Orns' who attended. If I'm correct. Of course the 'bedwetters' can't attend. They're stuck at home soiling the bedclothes.
