Yeah, I thought this too. He was absolutely horrific.

Enjoyable second half. They did really well to dig in and hold on.

Loved watching this. Seeing Lloydinho on touchline made it all the more sweeter. Awesome passion from the Wood, you saw what it meant to them at full time. This is what the FA Cup is all about

Boreham Wood were defending really deep from quite early on in the piece really, but in truth, while Bournemouth obviously did have their chances, it wasn't as if Ashby-Hammond in the Wood goal was absolutely peppered with shots!

Haven't conceded a goal all cup run, should take their defenders at least

Agree totally, I thought Bournemouth's football was like the very worst we have played when sideways was the "go to" move.

Well done Boreham Wood and Lloyd.

Bournemouth were pretty complacent with their starting line up and formation - then the big names couldn’t save them.

Admittedly Muff didn't have much to cheer about, but all I heard all game was the Wood fans! Glad you have a proper big tie to come, Bournemouth away is pretty small time for a Championship 'giant'!

According to my son The 'Wood have finally made it to the media big league: their performance warranted an item on yesterday's 'Newsround'.

Years ago Borehamwood drew **** Town in the FA Cup . Twice.
**** Towns bunch of neanderthals got sorted out big style .
Borehamwood are just non league Millwall but on Red Bull .
Apologies to decent law abiding citizens of Borehamwood !

For the 88th time Boreham Wood FC are the town of Borehamwood's local team.

Not true. A bunch of Scummer 'kids' tried to 'kick-off' (ISTR it was something to do with the local Gammonspoons refusing them service) and they underwent, what I can only describe as 'self-policing' by the adult Scummers.

More ill-informed shyte. When my eldest son and daughter were in primary (now 21 and 19 respectively) the club offered all of the Wood's primary school pupils (in the final two years of school) free season tickets. Both attended matches on their 'own' (with a group of their schoolfriends) - I was more worried about them crossing the busy Brook Rd to get to the games than attending the matches. The club also ran 'Project 2000' and 'Boreham Wood 2000') to channel talented/interested boys and girls into careers in the game.

Like every single conurbation in this country there are medicinal herbs and powders for sale by someone, somewhere in the town.

ie 99+% of the town's population.

Obviously you have moved in recently .
Anyone who has lived in or around BWood during the last century knows of its reputation
The Crown , Bull and Tiger ,Elliots social etc etc
Ask Snorban fans about the cup match in December ...just sayin like

Anyway using phrases like Gammonspoons then wondering why a buffoon like
Johnstone romps an election . Here's an idea middle class socialists. How about you try and
guide the ship around the rocks as opposed to insults ?

    "Moved in recently" then ?.
What about the thuggery at the cup match ?

Still have games in hand on Stockport. The dream of promotion is still on.

Last night's 0-0 draw didn't help - it's still very tight at the top and Stockport are looking difficult to overtake:

Why are the play-offs so complicated in this league?

  29. Bwood_Horn

    Bwood_Horn Squad Player

It was to keep more teams 'in the running' because at this level (and you can see from the table) that there is a certain 'sameness' of club abilities. Also ISTR it was requested by the clubs for income reasons (play-offs are likely to be full houses).

FWIW I quite like it: the two winners of play-off 1 (teams 4-7) play the 2nd and 3rd place teams in play-off semis before the play-off finals.

Yes I think it's a great idea, accepting that it may seem a little unfair for 7 to win promotion over team 2.....

Top 2 like in the good old second division days :)
Or teams 2-5 play off ?
As I say, I like the idea, but it's going to hurt if you finish 2nd by a point and lose to the 7th placed team in the POs !
    Why stop at 7th ???
