I joint in May 2013, so also coming up to a decade (although I lurked for a few years prior).

I used to comment on the old Watford Teamtalk page and refused to jump in the life raft, until it was basically just me left.

I used to be active on BWL, then when that died a death, I did sign up to Glory Horns but I never posted on it. At the same time someone else created "The Darkside" forum for BWLers but I think only about 20 people signed up, I did but it wasn't the same as BWL so it slipped away unnoticed. I never joined the official forum either.
I started lurking on here around the time of the Pozzo takeover but took another two years to sign up.

 

Shame there's no way to go back and see your first ever posts on the forum.

For your first post ? Sadly know way of telling, but I think it is more likley to have been correcting a minor speeling mistake, gramaticul error, apostrophy in the wrong plaice, etc.

Just seen I joined this place in November 2006. Bloody hell.

The old forum turned into a right mess before it was closed - the infamous story of Aidy and Marlon King having a punch up outside a chip shop was the final straw before the club pulled the plug I think.

 

These days it would be speculation over Ngakia's mystery contract that would see them pull the shutters down.

 

Hell of a thread, that one. As getting forums closed go, that’s a fine way to go down.
