Absolutely incredible, that this is the level he finds himself at just half a season after we bring him in. MLS. And I love MLS, it's my second most watched league after the Prem. But come on; for fucck's sake. Seriously.
If we had the same injury issues in attack as we did in midfield he may have had a role to play, and has actually looked okay when he's featured. But was never going to get much game time with King, Dennis, JP and even Sarr capable of playing as a number 9.
At a stretch you could add Baah, should’ve gone out on loan so he could at least develop a bit more. Instead he’s sat around here doing nothing and then got injured. Might be one for the future but we’ve basically wasted a year if his career.
Personally think that's a bit too far to stretch. They said they wanted him in and around the squad for the first half of the season with a view to working out his true level and then if need be loaning him out in January. Not sure how they could have foreseen the major injury. I wouldn't be shocked if he gets a few first team minutes between now and May.
Out of all the signings we've made I find this one the strangest. I just don't understand the point of him. Never scored goals at any level and at an age where he is unlikely to get much better
I've always assumed he was an insurance policy in the event of relegation back to the Championship so we would at least have one striker in place ready for that league.
Disappointed poor old Felch didn't get much of a chance to show what he could do. When he did get the opportunities, he did pretty well as I remember. Scored as well. I can only suppose either he's looked rubbish in training or he's got fed up and told 'em to go 'joder' themselves. Might explain why he hasn't even been in the squad for the past few matches even with most of us more than ready to commit regicide on King.
If we weren't going to play him and rather loaned him out we should have done it sooner so he could've gone to the Championship.
As much as we bemoan him in here I sincerely doubt that. Even if he's not good enough for the Prem he's clearly a decent Champ forward.
Now that Baah is back, any limited minutes available would seem more prudently spent on him. If Fletcher does well there we can sell him.
Dan Gosling may be s***, but I do kinda feel sorry for him. He’s now going to have to sit around and watch this s***show every week, knowing he can’t possibly play because he’s not registered in a squad that has a free space in it.
So he could be gone until October. So he potentially misses out on being named in either our PL (lol) or Championship squad for the first half of the next season.
