Thank you for posting this article. This is what football SHOULD be about. Not greed, not selfishness, not money but genuine humanity. And it does put the Premiershyte into perspective. All the best to the lad and his family in this hard time.
If only premiership clubs could do this sort of thing, with such high profiles and turnovers there is so much they could do. Well done stockport. As for the lad Baker, what amazing mental strength to play after all that. Must of been wonderful moment with the Yeovil fans.
Brilliant story, must be a terrible time for the guy and his family, nice to know there's some kindness left in football, puts the selfish c*nts like Adebayor to shame.
