    Hello!

My name is Paton. I am a student doing a Phd in Experimental Psychology at University of Oxford. I am now conducting a research project on the emotions football fans experienced during the 2014 Fifa World Cup.

As the World Cup has started (What do you think about the 3-1 result?), it would be great if I can get as many of you as possible to participate in this study.

This study divides into 2 parts. The first part requires you to fill in a 3-minutes survey about your favourite team and to provide some simple information about yourself and your email address.

Just click on this link NOW if you are interested:

The second part will happen at a later stage of the World Cup. You will receive a short survey (takes about 3 to 5 minutes to complete) through email immediately after two of the selected matches. You will be asked about your attitudes and emotional reactions to the outcomes of those matches.

This study is designed to follow the progress of the World Cup. I hope this will be as exciting for you as possible. Additionally, you will be eligible to enter into a lottery for amazon vouchers or equivalence. The prizes include 1 raffle of £100 (about USD$167), 2 raffles of £50 (about USD$83) and 4 raffles of £25 (about USD$42).

For ethics purposes, all data are kept confidential and anonymous. And if you have questions, feel free to contact me: Paton Yam (oxfordworldcup@gmail.com)

Share this link to your friends as well! Your few minutes will definitely help my research and my life

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Not from me mate, don't worry, but these are dangerous times and if the rabble rousers get a hold of you I don't know what they'll do.

I'll do the survey tomorrow, I'm about to head to bed.

No worries mate, I've just done the survey.

Is this for your dissertation perhaps? Good luck with it!

Thanks mate! I really appreciate that.

It's for my dissertation on emotion. I hope it all works well but the response rate seems to be low and considering that I don't know what is going to be like at the knockout stage, I need more participants for sure. Please help spread around if it doesn't trouble you. Thanks a lot!

Hello! I'm from the "good one" so to speak, but I do think Brooks has a lot to offer. I have heard that they are very good in certain subjects, such as architecture, urban planning, automotive engineering..
